The Trump shutdown — we all know the fake “emperor” never had any clothes (Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal could’ve told you that, otherwise no one would notice Tiny Trump’s shortcomings).

But now he is holding government workers and food stamp (SNAP / EBT) recipients hostage while he throws his little tantrum.

In the meantime, “essential” government employees (thankfully including Robert Mueller) are continuing to work, but without pay.

This is the way Trump has operated all his spoiled child life:

1. Promise everything

2. Deliver NOTHING

3. Keep workers working

4. Keep workers working — but DON’T PAY THEM (Trump = slavery)

Shouldn’t McConnell be in this picture as well? There is a bill previously passed overwhelmingly by the Senate that has now been passed by the House Democrats, but McConnell won’t even allow it to come to the floor – because he says Trump won’t sign it. Right now, the roadblock is McConnell. Let’s deal with that first.

Remember when the candidate said he could shoot somebody in the middle of 5th Avenue and his supporters would still vote for him? It was one of the few times he was telling the truth. Post-speech quicky polls showed that something around 40% of Americans believe that the government shutdown can be blamed on Democrats, despite multiple reruns of the actual news clip in which Disaster Pumpkin looked Chuck Schumer straight in the eye and said “I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck. … I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I’m not going to blame you for it.”

But he says that all the time already, and people are still suffering.

In this case the “enterprise” is border security and the infrastructure is a physical barrier. Similar to what the Dems proposed and/or voted for several times since 2006.
