Well, the American system of governance does contain a system of checks and balances. The cheques however are weighing on the balance a bit too much though.

Take heart in the numbers. 59 were killed but there were 22,000 at the concert and a million in the city. The gun nuts can’t kill us all.

As long as the NRA keeps paying them off, survivors will not see a change in a system that took their loved ones. Worthless prayers for the people the GOP could have kept safe with actual legislation won’t bring them back no matter how much your congressman gets paid by the NRA. The victims will keep coming, as long as that money keeps coming. You are being sold by the Republicans to a shooting gallery called the USA.
