She was an extraordinary teabagger who was among the nation’s worst welfare cases: on the public dole for her salary and health benefits (for the rest of her sorry life), and her family’s and husband’s companies also dipped into the public coffers. Never forget that.
And google the images of her eating a corndog while you’re at it.
If what Obama has achieved is destruction, I’ll take it over what the GOP are doing in congress. Ruining our credit rating, destroying jobs, destroying the infrastructure, and doing their best to destroy the ability of America to function as a country. They can’t even form a budget reconciliation committee, because they’re afraid it might lead to governing!
We’re all so glad that you’ve started posting in bold face; now we believe what you say as bold face is the written version of yelling, and as we all know, those who yell do so because their ideas are correct, and those of us who speak quietly and reasonably are just Liberal wussies and homosexuals. You’re an inspiration to your kind.
Jon Stewart once characterized Sarah Palin as a self-opening pinata for topics for comics. Ms. Bachmann is from that same mold.
She wanted to start investigations into Anti-Americanism, continuing the proud traditions of Sen. Joe McCarthy, and of the House Un-American Activities Committee. She claimed to be for health care reform, yet served deep-fried butter at the Iowa caucuses and at other primary locations. She complained about people taking money from the federal government, while she and her husband took over a quarter million per year to help their business, which, among other things, claimed to cure homosexuality.
Although we’ll miss her make-your-drink-come-out-your-nose sense of unintentional humor, America will be better off when she’s no longer able to vote in Congress.
It’s hard to tell whether Bachmann represents a loss of humor, or just crazy. Which:
Ima: I know a lot of liberals who fly the flag when appropriate, and in compliance with flag protocol no less. It is folks who drench the flag in the blood of our troops, and tens of thousands of innocents killed for false purpose (Reagan, GHW, “W”, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, Perle, etc), who bother US!
I’m always amazed by these “false patriots” who insist on their flags, left out in storms and tattered, flown unlighted at night, worn as a shirt, etc. who aren’t bothered by our troops being killed, or rights violated in such insanity as the "Patriot Act’, because of their ignorance, and arrogance.
That is clearly the house of a conservative. No liberal would EVER fly the American flag for any reason, it might offend someone. The only thing about the flag that offends me is how my pseudo-conservative neighbors mistreats theirs. My neighbor to the south flies his at night with no spotlighting, as did a former neighbor. A neighbor to the north has his flag bracket mounted low enough on his front porch that it drags on the ground.I fully support people flying a flag if they so choose, but I expect them to so said flag some respect.
“Careful there, Larry…th’ prejudicial mindset that compels you to offer that “Women can be effective politicians but Bachmann and Palin are not examples,” makes you a sexist member of the porcine family”How is his comment sexist? Not every woman would make an effective leader, just as not every man would. How does that impact women’s equality in any way? His comment isn’t sexist, it’s partisan.

Imagine how bad Joe Biden and Hillary must feel right now. If they want to run in 2016 they might actually have to work for it.

Huh? What sane woman would vote for either of them?
Of course, there do seem to be a lot of people voting against their own interests these days …

Rob Rogers has a good Bachman cartoon. Mike couldn’t even draw her.
Disappointing, Mike. If this is the best you can do, you’re not sad she’s gone, you’re relieved.
