Ok, Mike, I see you, laying in wait, ready to pounce for anyone foolish enough to point out that Trump is currently in favor of the filibuster.

    At the moment.

    2017 vs 2021

It’s all about what’s best for Trump. Not the Republican Party. Not the Conservative Caucus. Certainly NOT the American People.

It’s all about Trump. And you understand that, don’t you, Mike?

The question is, how long are you going to continue to pretend that you’re alright with that?

And McConnell will tell Schumer the same thing he told Harry Reid back when they changed the process for confirming judges. “You’ll live to regret it”.

Lol, Mikey! Trump called for eliminating the filibuster when Democrats said they would filibuster his nominee for Scalia’s SCOTUS seat. You know, the one McConnell held open for nearly a year? THEN, Mitch turned around & nuked the filibuster on SCOTUS nominees in order to get Gorsuch confirmed.

Later in 2017, Trump again demanded an end to the filibuster because he was mad Obamacare & tax cuts hadn’t been repealed. “Repeal & replace” was always nothing but a campaign slogan for smarter Republicans, because it would create a backlash. He wanted to stay Majority Leader. Mitch got the tax cuts he wanted by passing them via reconciliation. If the filibuster stood in the way, he’d have nuked it in an instant. Mitch may be evil, but he’s not stupid.

MItch is a son of a bitch! He gives a new meaning to “village idiot” is on the loose! When GOP can’t have their way, they change policies and laws to suit their purposes….it’s do as I say, NOT as I do! They spend tax payers money on useless investigations to DEFLECT, AND STALL, and LIE through their teeth to DECIEVE! THEY GOT NOTHING!

Actually, Trump asked about it in April of 2018. Under McConnell, Republicans got rid of the ability to filibuster Supreme Court nominees is what happened.

Hardly a dime’s worth of difference between the Democrats and most of the Republicans and Trump was the best thing that happened to the country since Harry Truman…and if you don’t agree I’ll assume you’re feeling amorous because you must want to kiss my ass. Kindest personal regards…

If either side really wanted to get rid of the filibuster, it would be gone by now.
