Um. What? Winners and losers? Bear in mind that we’re aiming at the folks who are innumerate, so they don’t grok that the odds on dying of a bad reaction when getting the jab(s) are WAY less than the odds of dying of Covid if you don’t. So whatever works. If we spend $million on PSAs and convince another 50K people to get jabbed is that any better than spending $half-million on lottery tickets and $half-million advertising THAT and convincing another 50K people to get jabbed?

Note that the “India” variant is now showing up across the US and it’s dozens to hundreds of times more infectious than the original strain.

Taking into account one’s political affiliation, another prize offered could be the opportunity to throw a baseball at your least favorite elected politician, perched above a dunk tank.

Can’t fix stupid! The lottery was created for all the dumbasses who refuse to get vaccinated. BUT YET! they’ll do it for money! So there goes their “anti-Vac” stand, down the drain! They’re more worried about their rights being trampled on, than the safety of their loved ones….

Why some taxpayers aren’t able to grasp the concept they are being bribed w/ their own money is a head scratcher…

Still a bargain when you factor in the cost of keeping the anti vaxxers alive.

It’s pretty sad when the cartoonist has to post a comment explaining his cartoon.

If the right wingnuts had not fought the vax so much, then the taxpayers would not have to bribe the ignorant in the effort to protect their tax paying selves and those near and dear to them.

Let’s thank the Lester Tribe for us having to resort to wasting tax dollars. Then again perhaps the new millionaires will let it trickle down which is a renewal of voodoo economics.

The economy depends upon defeating covid…think of it as taking .0001 from the top .01% that would have a heck of a lot more effective

Isn’t it just math? Taxpayers more or less foot the bill for lockdowns, closed businesses, health care for the uninsured, economic negatives of a pandemic, etc. If the cost of some prize money gets you a sufficient increase in vaccination rates to offset those other costs, it’s a win.

It’s a whole other conversation about how people got so misinformed as to think it’s a bad idea to get vaccinated cough Conservative movement cough.

Lester knows this is the only way to get trumpers to take the vaccine. And of course, they are dummies for following #45.

The left keeps repeating the lie that President Trump is against the experimental and unapproved by FDA Wuhan flu vaccine. They are either lying as usual or utterly ignorant of the fact that a few months ago President Trump advised ALL Americans to get the vaccine when it became available. We conservatives, unlike the sheeple on the left, don’t follow blindingly any advice from anybody including President Trump, but take the time to weigh the positives and the negatives. After reading in late 2020 up to the present the dangers and the possible side effects of the vaccine, many of us are not willing to be lab rats and will wait until it is approved by FDA. Several noted liberals who advised on Twitter against taking the vaccine are suddenly cancelled by their own by removing those tweets.

Gee, if only Sally Smith didn’t need a money incentive to get a vaccine, then we’d all all be better off.

Tried to register online for the Ohio Vax-a-Million. Go-Daddy said the URL I was given was available. Tried a different search engine, same answer. This was after seeing a news story about people having difficulty registering. I don’t care I never win anyway.
