Which is absolutely the same way he’s behaved since moments after taking office. The only difference is that this one has some Democrat pieces in place so it won’t go exclusively to the obscenely rich.

Apparently he also wants his signature on the checks. He figures that they are cheap reelection advertising.

    Not to worry, Lester.

There’s a Republican* in the White House, so deficits don’t matter.

    “Deficits don’t matter” – Dick Cheney *

    Until a Democrat gets elected.

I don’t know why you’re complaining now, where were you when the Republican-led everything passed the “Tax Cut and Spend Scam” that cost at least that much a couple of years ago?

80% of the 2 trillion will go to corporations that pay little or no taxes. This is another Wall Street bailout.

By the time those checks are delivered, they may only be worth 10% of their value.

Last Friday, I looked up a map of my state to find a county that had no reported cases of the Trump Plague. I had been self isolated for three weeks, so I felt like it was safe that I wouldn’t infect anyone, then drove 40 miles to the grocery store in that county. I’m 75 and have type A blood, so if you think that’s overreacting, I hope you’re right, but I doubt it. I got $200 worth of groceries, should last at least until the end of July.

Then, I noticed a pharmacy tech and asked her " Are there any cases reported here yet?" Her answer: “We wouldn’t know, we have some people we’d like to test, but we have to get the tests from either St Louis or Chicago, and they don’t have enough to test their own people.” So, if you think you are in a Trump Plague free zone, that may be just another one of his lies.

We don’t have the total debt of 24.2 Trillion, either. The GOP has a plan though. If Biden wins in November they will put all the blame on Joe and try to impeach him! Neat, huh?

It’s a considerable relief knowing that we did not squander any money on stockpiling medical supplies and protective equipment for medical workers — and especially for testing people like South Korea did.

    Trump on his Covid-19 victims:

    2/26 – “We’re going down, not up.”

    3/7 – “I’m not concerned at all.”

3/10 – “It will go away.”

Today – If total U.S. Trump-Covid-19 deaths remain below 100,000 citizens, the Trump gang will have “done a very good job.”

The government doesn’t have to HAVE the money, remember the Government PRINTS the money. The problem is this devalues the currency and drives up inflation. And it doesn’t always work even then. See FDR and the depression which didn’t really get over until WWII started and if you couldn’t get a job or serve in the military you were really impaired some how, or totally disabled.

Why are you suddenly concerned about this 2 Trillion dollars. We have been going 2 trillion dollars a year into debt since Trumps Tax giveaway. But as soon as the someone OTHER than rich people MIGHT get some money NOW it is a problem.
