Even with such a thin atmosphere they can rage 200-300 mph.
Opportunity knocks out but once.
Yeah, and now you’re stuck with it in that one spot for all eternity, Mars.
Still, though, definitely an end of an era, there. Opportunity went above and beyond everybody’s expectations.

Heard on the radio this morning that NASA plans to try one more time to try and get a response from Opportunity. If that fails, then they intend to call it quits and shut down that project for good. :(
