Looks like a dig at Biles.

I didn’t take this as a dig, but rather a supportive toon. And for me to say that about this toonist is very rare.

This is an example of Ramirez-the-Shill’s most insightful, absolute best understanding and explanation of Simone Biles’s monumental decision to take care of herself rather than pander to the corporate wishes of the U.S. Olympic Team sponsors. Kudos for her! NOTHING is more important to an individual’s health and well-being, but leave it to Ramirez-the-Shill to equate the insignificance of household chores with Biles’s courageous decision to self-correct her physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, even spiritual ethos to preserve and protect her well-being. Future autobiographies of woke athletes will reveal that they envied Biles’s decision, but didn’t have the support they needed to emulate her and that, in hindsight, they regret not having done so.

This is in reference to Simone Biles…..cheap shot…

It looks like Ramirez is being supportive of Ms. Biles, but doesn’t know how to do it.

I agree with Odon. It does seem to support Simone Biles. Looking at it again, the dig seems to be at those who will use what she’s going through as an excuse to get out of doing something or anything. I think we’ve all seen those people.

My only small issue with Biles flaming out is Her accepting and furthering of the GOAT title. GOAT’s never ever quit, EVER. I’ve seen opinions all over social media about Biles they seem to break along gender roles, Men tend to be much tougher than Ladies about quitting during any competition. We get pretty misty eyed over Athletes pushing though adversity or injury. Running bare foot in a Marathon or sticking a Vault with torn ligaments in your ankle or my bawling favorite, your Dad carrying you across the finish line with a torn Hamstring. One of them once said something like “My Country didn’t send me to the Olympics to start a Race..they sent me to Finish” chokes me up just thinking about that sort of Courage. That kind of Performance is very Rare that’s why People like me respect it so very much.

Didn’t expect this one, Mr Ramirez. It’s times like these—and when you are right in your criticisms of the Left—that cause me to read you even though I almost always disagree.

Every kid EVER has tried to use what they see another person do. And every parent EVER has pointed out how it doesn’t work like that. Though this particular parent is definitely in the top half for “doing it correctly”.
