The GOP Leadershit & Trump incited the insurrection that invaded the Capitol & brought about at least five deaths, including the murder of a Capitol policeman. Ramirez’s criticism seems to be that the House is being a fussbudget for having impeached Trump for the second time. On Monday, the House will provide the sole article of impeachment to the Senate—sitting as a jury on Trump’s impeachment—a Senate that includes two principle players in the insurrection, Ted “suck-up” Cruz and Josh “Goebbels” Hawley, as “jurors.” It is as lopsided a “jury” as can be imagined. Ramirez does not seem to give a damn about any of those killed in the GOP Leadershit inspired insurrection. Instead, Ramirez prefers to twist the facts and the context grotesquely to make the House the villain. Ramirez knows the House had only two choices: (1) impeach Trump for inciting the insurrection that resulted in five deaths or (2) ignore the incident & Trump’s complicity. Only a fool, a drunk, or a liar would deem that a dilemma, yet Ramirez goes out of his way to impugn the House’s constitutional and moral response as detestable and the GOP Leadershit as the victims. The GOP Leadershit/Ramirez rule of thumb is the classic maxim: repeat a lie often enough and loudly enough and it will be accepted by the dim-witted, the ignorant, and the naïve.
