As opposed to the reality of the conservatives who are looting the held-in-common resources of the nation and receiving subsidies of the public monies to do so..

And just how many billions have the Berniee Madoffs, the Enrons, and others stolen? Let’s just take the first case. $50,000,000,000. That’s 25,000,000 TV sets costing $2000. Not in the entire history of US riots have the rioters stolen as much as those white guys in suits.

And Trump’s looters are selling off radio frequencies needed for publicly useful functions like GPS and weather satellites … because they can. So when you have to pay to upgrade the electronics in your phones and GPS devices to pay for the electronics that can reject interference from those sold-off frequencies, remember who did that. And when our ability to make use of weather satellites is set back 50 years, remember who did that, too.

For an intelligent, educated, gifted man you fail to understand far too often. You just don’t get it, do you? Is it lack of compassion? Or empathy?

The “I Have a Dream” speech was 57 years ago (I still get goosebumps when the Reverend King starts that part of the speech).

I recommend you also watch Kimberly Jones’s “How Can We Win” speech.

This cartoon is certainly disgusting, but shouldn’t be dismissed as simple racism. A bit of perspective is important.

A self-employed BLM “activist” in Chicago has received a lot of publicity for statements defending looting as “reparations,” mostly through conservative and alt-right media coverage. There’s little reason to believe she’s anything more than a streetcorner Trotskyist adept art working the media.

Meanwhile in Georgia this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene, an overtly racist, antiSemitic, Qanon-spouting candidate, won a Republican Congressional primary and is expected to coast to victory. Fox News gave her softball coverage by highlighting her hatred of Nancy Pelosi and treating her embrace of vile conspiracy theories as toutine.

In Connecticut, Thomas Gilmer is in a “dead heat” in another GOP congressional primary despite having been arrested on Monday for attempting to strangle his girlfriend.

I look forward to Ramirez showing us Lincoln slapping Mary Todd around, because that’s how to treat a woman, and Ronald Reagan in a brown shirt and swastika armband storming a pizza parlor.

Because he’s such an intellectually honest guy.

A little over the top Mikey on this one.. I don’t suppose those tax breaks the one percenters got would be considered reparations.. Nah, they all went to white folk.

And you wonder why people might refer to you as a racist, Mr. Ramirez? Putting those words into Dr. King’s mouth? Have you ever, ever read any of Dr. King’s writings? Listened to any of his speeches? The man spent and eventually gave his life to non-violence, especially condemning violence by his own people! I am not a person of color, but even I find this reprehensible.

Read through the remarks and no one addressed the looting by the “demonstrators”. You might want to look at history, areas that aren’t safe tend to die on the vine. Can Chicago recover, or will it become the new Detroit?

A gang of organized thieves does not invalidate the civil rights protests any more than NRA embezzlement invalidates the Second Amendment.

I dont often agree with Michael Ramirez, but protest that turns violent only hurts its cause. Trump, like Hitler in 1933 and Nixon in 1968/72, is intentionally stoking anger so that he can run a law & order campaign. Non violent protest is constitutionally protected and essential to those who cannot afford to buy politicians. But violence will only beget more violence and the cause will suffer.

Trump had a dream of being re-elected and said he might NOT get there with the rest of his followers to the promised land. He will be proven right.

Extreme Right of, course. Most will recognize a portion of famous speech by a person who knew love and didn’t have time for hate. I’ve got the time . . . . probably shouldn’t.
