I’d prefer the House to censure the president right now. Once the court decides if Executive Privilege applies to Hair Groppenfuror’s staff, the House can proceed with Articles of Impeachment on the current charges (if the court decides in the president’s favor) or hear testimony and add additional Articles if new evidence is forthcoming.
I disagree with Ramirez. I don’t think “speediness” is the problem here. The Democrats have been scheming for impeachment from day one. They don’t need more time - they just need a solid case — which they will never have. Get this nonsense over with fast and get back to work.
