What exactly about Warren is ¨too far left¨? I would like clarification, as most of the things that I have heard are quite reasonable. Going right, however… an entirely different matter.

Along the same lines as @VadimUzdensky1, what is so “left” or radical about Elizabeth Warren?

What is so extreme about championing goals that most Americans want and that work successfully everywhere else in the modern industrial world?

    • Universal access to no-fee public health care

    • Tuition-free public education expanded from K-12 to include up to bachelor’s

    • Being able to go out in public without fear of being shot by an assault weapon

    • An economic system that works for workers and consumers, not just the wealthy and well-connected, who need to start paying their fair share

Instead of socialism, Warren calls for markets, but markets “with rules.” Conservatives complain that rules stifle markets, but the opposite is true. Rules are what make things work. Rules of the road do not inhibit driving, they make it possible. Rules of sports don’t inhibit competitive contests, they make them possible. Warren wants economic “cops on the beat” to make our economy and financial institutions work better for everyone; not one that is rigged in favor of only the wealthy and well-connected.

Appears that Ramirez doesn’t know his left from his right!

When you (Ramirez) are to the right of Atilla the Hun, the center does look pretty far left.

Ramirez, you forgot to label Warren as ‘Pocahontas’.

Calling Warren ‘Pocahontas’ proves that banks should never be regulated.

Every time a right-wing cartoonist tries to make fun of Elizabeth Warren, I get a huge smile on my face because it means she’s doing something right and they are scared sh*tless of her!

I’ll vote for Biden if he’s the candidate. But I think that Warren will get out more young “disaffected” voters, and I think that might be key. Bernie would, I think, get his “base” out more effectively, but (I think) it’s smaller than hers.

Bear in mind that it’s Ramirez’s job to sow FUD among the liberals while placating the GOP’s base, baser and basest. Though he does sometimes get his head up out of the muck and provide a more balanced ‘toon, this isn’t one.

In this rare case Ramirez is right. Dems love Obamacare but lost 1000 seats across the country in the six years after it passed, going from controlling the WH, Senate & House to controlling nothing. Medicare 4 All is WAY left of Obamacare.

For Ramirez anyone who does not blindly support Trump, Moscow Mitch and the rest of the GOP, or the NRA is a Leftist Commie Socialist.

Without rules you don’t have freedom, you have chaos.

If Reps are right-winged, Dems are left as compared to that. So where is the problem with being “left”? (A word which has no clear meaning anyway).
