If this was legitimate, Feinstein could have brought it up during his pre-hearing visit. Or she could have brought it up when she repeatedly questioned him in committee. But no, Feinstein leaked it to the press and pulled a democrat Clarence Thomas dirty trick for politics sake. Classic democrat trash move by a political has-been.

I hope Ramirez never has to deal with a loved one being raped and physically threatened (or worse injured) and the nightmares and psychological effects that persist long afterward … it’s not a pleasant experience but if you have had a loved one raped, you will no longer joke about it or trivialize it.

Posters here and elsewhere seem outraged that Kavanaugh is not being presumed innocent until proven guilty.

In their next sentences they denounce Kavanaugh’s accuser of telling a lie, of being a political operative, “making up stories”, and the like. Why are they denying her a presumption of innocence?

Either they are both innocent until proven guilty — he of the charge of attempted rape, and her of the charge of lying — or you’re simply being partisan. Feel free to express your opinion, but you might want to keep that in mind.

I believe Mr. Ramirez is poking fun at the orchestrated political circumstance (read Feinstein’s tardy reveal), not the actual accusation being put forward. In that way the alleged victim – or pawn, in this case – is being abused all over again, and I find that truly disheartening.

I don’t see anything in the Constitution about how any woman who ever knew a man can veto his nomination to the Supreme Court. Must be in the penumbra or emanations section.

The Trump Republicans are trying to get their candidate approved, without investigation — and the FBI did investigate in the Clarence Thomas-Anita Hill case. The Trump Republicans are setting artificial deadlines, to avoid trying to get their candidate approved after the mid-terms. They are attempting to get Kavanaugh elevated to the Supreme Court without allowing for sufficient review of all his judicial writings and his time in previous government service. The Trump Republicans are attempting a bare-faced power grab.

All this, on top of their squashing of President Obama’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Merrick Garland.

It seems pretty desperate. It seems they are willing to risk further alienating and energizing their opposition, if they can only pull off packing the Supreme Court.

Yea I’m a day late. Something how Mr. Ramirez opinion today of this differs from his previous cartoon. It must be OK for a Republican trying to get in to Supreme Court.
