I served in the military for 22 years. Afterwards I served as a civilian advisor in Afghanistan. Right now I’m with a group of veterans who are training soldiers in Africa. And NONE of this group has any respect for the NFL players who kneel during the anthem—because those players have no respect for their fellow Americans. Protest is one thing, but showing disdain for your nation as a whole is something else. When people get paid millions of dollars to play a game, and still cannot muster the respect to stand for the anthem, they can go to the devil. I am finished with professional football.
