He paid into Social Security and Medicare. If he is on disability, he is either unable to work, may not be a visible disability. If he is just lazy, he, or more likely, she will be living below poverty line(.I don’t mean that she is lazy and He is Not, just word placement, but meaning that the person in poverty is more apt to be a she.) buys clothes at Goodwill, eats lots of peanut butter and bread, beans and rice, and oatmeal. If anyone really wants to live under the poverty line, can’t afford cable, maybe the internet the only luxury or can’t even afford that, then just Be lazy.

the US electorate can be stupid at times. they voted for lincoln only 1/3 popular, they maybe elected bush once.

however it doesn’t do a whole lot of good to win the favor of the majority by call them stupid. there’s a lesson ramirez hasn’t learned yet.

The real leaches on our society are the Rich and their corporations at the Fed tit, not to mention all those red states that get more in tax money returned to them than they send to the government.

Politicians have been giving away stuff to get votes for years. It works every time. They raided Social Security. They started borrowing money when they drained everything else dry. Most recently, Obama raided Medicare to pay for Obamacare. Yes, sir, we don’t need to worry about paying for it.

Why don’t we just send the government all of our income and let them spend as they see fit? They have done such a great job on everything else they control!

What costs the taxpayer more: a year’s worth of food stamps, or a $77,000 tax credit for upkeep and dancing lessons for a horse? We can argue that both are a waste of money, but one’s a little harder to defend.

Now, which one is likely to get cut?

“…Just another fanciful story that conservatives tell themselves…” YEP. When the Free Riders receive Govt Checks that BOUNCE, They will notice it is TOO LATE to pass the National Debt to anyone. One day, China and others will stop buying US Bonds. Probably when America’s Credit Rating is lowered again. Or, when the $Dollar is devalued.

@ Play on TVNEITHER will be cut. But, if we put a CAP on Deductions and people can use any loophole they want (up to about $25,000). That may be something Voters can push onto their Congressionals.

The working man knows that things aren’t free. OUR taxes pay for our benefits. We are willing to pay a bit more for better benefits as long as the Corporate Bloodsuckers sponging their millions off of OUR hard work get to pay a bit more as well.

Plutocrats in China and Russia, and other countries got their wealth by begin given their countries natural resources for a song, or even less than a bar of song. THat is exactly what Republicans have been doing with the public lands and resources in the U..S., and their stepping up their efforts. If you want to know who really wants to use the Russian model here, Check with Boehner, “Doc” Hastings, and other Republicans on Boehner’s committees.

Now THAT is some real “free stuff”!
