Lou obviously didn’t think this one through. I suspect that a lot of people don’t stop to consider what kind of work they are suited for temperamentally, but instead pursue a certain path (like management) because that’s what they think they ‘should’ do, because it’s lucrative and ‘respectable’ and think it will give them status and stature. But making more money is never worth it if it comes at the price of peace of mind.
