He should have stood up to Trump in the first place or quit.

Instead he enabled anti social Trump’s anti Public Health lies.

The problem with the USA is we expect our leaders to be honest

and republicans have discovered they can win with irrational lies.

Possibly a little highbrow for this crowd, but nice.

Radish thinks that Fauci should have resigned, but I think Radish does not really understand what Fauci and those like him do at NIH. The bit with Trump was a minor part of what was going on in his institute and in all the other institutes during this pandemic crisis. He had too many responsibilities that had nothing to do with Trump and his little covid panel. All that was as important, if not more important, in attacking the SARS-CoV-2 problems, and he was in a unique position to carry out what is needed. You might as well say that Francis Collins should have resigned too, as Fauci’s immediate superior. It makes no sense to quit the job unless you don’t worry about what you are losing to attack a serious problem.

The Doctor has integrity and compassion for others, otherwise he would not be in his field for as long as he has. Unfortunately, he was put into a position with none of those qualities and just a blowhard moron

How Americans responded to the Trumpian Disaster is indicative of ANYONE encountering moral rot for the first time.

We have traditionally expected certain standards of conduct from our political leaders and when they fail in their response, we are clueless as to what to do.

The last time America was faced with someone like Donnie John was in the ’30s with Huey Long, who crawled out of the slime of Louisiana politics and was in danger of infecting the whole of America – until he was finally dealt with.

I was raised to believe that a man always spoke truth and stood behind his actions by accepting responsibility for anything he did, and that anyone who didn’t do that did not deserve to be called a “man”.

It has been hinted at that Donnie John may run for president in 2024 – if he does, and actually get elected, it will truly be an unmitigated disaster for America.

The man has NO MORAL COMPASS AT ALL – he lies pathologically, he cheats even when he has no reason to, and he demonstrates a morality that would sicken an alley cat!

And yet, even as we speak, his minions are busily crafting laws in the requisite states that will insure his election in 2024…

If Trump becomes president again, democracy will die in America.
