I prefer to think of it as one of the nails which will be driven into the coffin of Donny Boy’s political career. Others will come from the 17 current investigations into Donny Boy, his campaign finances, financial and business transactions, etc. etc. etc. Mr. Mueller is doing the job he was appointed to.
The real purpose of the Mueller investigation was not (as all the Trumpies seem to believe) to bring down Trump, but was to search for evidence of tampering in our 2016 election by the Trump campaign and any crimes uncovered by said investigation. It has certainly been successful in this regard and is not complete as yet. Trump may or may not known of collusion (conspiracy) to rig the election but he certainly did know of insurance and tax fraud by his organization and businesses. The crimes he has allegedly committed in those fields are certainly coming to light and may prove far more damaging to him personally then anything as yet to come from the investigation of the election itself. The fact that some of these crimes may have been committed while he was holding the office of the president may indeed be enough to initiate impeachment proceedings. Whether this will cause enough groundswell among voters to stir the Senate to convict is the question. If enough Senators feel their own re-election bid will be damaged by being tied to Trump they will dump him faster than he can scream “Witch Hunt!!!” if they don’t feel in any danger they will continue to put Party over Country, Truth and Justice. Personally I don’t believe that a micro-manager like Trump didn’t know everything that was going on in his campaign but that is just my personal belief. It has been shown that he is most concerned about what is best for himself alone and that may yet prove to be his undoing.
Don’t count your chickens. We don’t know what Mueller will say. There’s already enough evidence that Trump is a crook and a liar and a cheat; there’s lots of evidence that people in the campaign (and in Trump’s family) colluded with the Russians, but there may not be evidence that he himself did.
Just so eveyone knows where I stand on Mr. Mueller….I named my last child, Robert Mueller Ghandi. My wife wasn’t happy and I suppose when my daughter grows up, she’ll hate the name I gave her. She’ll just have to deal with it. No one said life was fair.
Dems are already scrambling to find something other than “collusion”, hence the Cohen hearings. They are pretty sure the Mueller report is not going to implicate Trump in anything.

Still more trustworthy than Trump. (But then, who isn’t?)

Wrecking an organized crime outfit (in this case, the Trump Outfit) may not make a person a saint, but it sure as hell makes him a PATRIOT!

Certainly a fair statement that what is hoped for and what he can deliver may not be the same thing.
