Republicans have two guiding principles that they never waver from:-Hatred of Obama-It’s OKAY if a Republican does it. ===Health care, veterans’ care, Benghazi, 500+ filibusters (including veterans’ care), draft dodging, tax evasion, voter suppression, pretty much every situation is covered by those principles.
One reason why they won’t be tried is because the evidence against them is contaminated by torture..Another good reason why is because Republicans don’t want them to be tried.

The GOP House has consistently blocked funding the closure of GITMO so, I’m glad to see 5 of the terrorists shipped somewhere else.
