I keep looking for books by Sal Alensky, and I keep not finding them.

If only President Obama were more of a socialist. If only we had a brave & intelligent Congress that wanted the best for the American people. We wouldn’t have this halfway health-care reform. We would have joined the rest of the civilized world in a universal, single-payer system.

It’s coming, though. Despite the regressive shrieking of the T-publicans, America is progressing.

Harley — Of course Obama has read Alinsky. Everyone I knew in those days read Alinsky. I’ve also read Marx, and I bet Obama has read Marx. Have you read Alinsky? Or Marx? But just because I’ve read Marx, that doesn’t mean I’m a Marxist, and if Obama has read Alinsky, that doesn’t mean he’s an Alinskyite. He reads books. He has governed from the center-right, and he has been a disappointment to those of us on the left.

This is Emmanuel. I met him in a Manual Training School. He’s a man you will like.
