I guess that’s why O was “chilling” in Beverly Hills Tuesday with his billionaire buddies. What happened to his promise of a “Laser-like focus on jobs” during his second term?I guess he misspoke there too…….
Complaints about the president not creating enough jobs? The only way the president can do that directly would be by expanding the government, and the conservatives wouldn’t like that. Further, private sector jobs tend to build the economy better, generally. The “Job Creators” could create jobs for Americans, by investing in America, building factories across America, giving Americans jobs, but they don’t. Why?
I looked up an old article from the BBCPer capita (is that per voter though?), the USA spends about 23 times more than the UK. We’re just much cheaper to buy. ;-)
Hmm: Raise the House term to four years, and make it illegal to raise campaign funds more than one year before elections for House or Senate. Give them some time to work instead of fundraising. Second: restore the “fairness doctrine” where all get equal access to the public airwaves (where most funding actually goes), and of course limit contributions by individuals: even “corporate” “persons”.
