Sanatorium is a fake pandering and pontificating to a willfully ignorant and deluded following.Over the past 2000-some years, “Christians” have managed to void most of “God’s” law as stated in the Bible. What ever they disagree with is explained away as to why they don’t have to follow it. What they do agree with, they expect us all to follow in lock step.Evangelics can delude themselves in the privacy of their own homes and Churches all they want. I’ll be happy to leave ’em to their delusions just stay the Hell away from my civil rights.
^ What we don’t want is someone who A) let’s antiquated dogma and superstition win out over logic and reasonB) Freely ignores the parts of the Bible he doesn’t believe in but expects everyone to follow lock step the parts he believes in
I ’m not religious, but I have known many wonderful religious people. I have no trouble with religion, but I do have trouble with idiocy. None of the current republican candidates deserves a job teaching junior high school.
So the catholics can run private institutions according to religious rules? That would mean that all those investigators, police, etc. pointing out how this highly moral church sheltered and promoted child molesters really wasn’t the government’s business.
oquaig, I was wondering that too (JFK).Perhaps one has to be holier-than-thou to be a real Catholic?Or have a “R” next to their name instead of a “D”?Its been 50 years….perhaps the memory has faded?
Lonecat touches on an important point. “Religion” per se, is not the problem, it is the “religious” FANATICS, of ALL TYPES who use “faith” (and wars) as a club to subdue others to THEIR “profit” and “prophets” who are the problem.

I really like Matt’s style of drawing and agree with his message today as usual.

Did you like how Newt totally lied about both Obama and the media in the same breath?
