Just examine the Senate’s Minority Leader’s statements when he supported Voting Rights!

[ You might see an example consummate CYNICISM! ]

It sure seems that the minority leader was for rules changes when he was majority leader… look at the Supreme Court!

A system that needs filibustering is a system that is broken. How could any sane person think that filibustering is a good thing?

Either we are a Democracy, with free and easy access to vote EVERYWHERE, or we aren’t.

@ (๑❛ᴗ❛๑) supra. True, no one is losing their right to vote. All that’s being taken away is their ability to vote by the elimination of polling places, poll workers, and gerrymandering of districts. Their right is intact, but the exercise of that right is being slowly eroded away.

If they want a filibuster, make them work for it. Make it require 41 people to hold the floor in order to keep the filibuster going. Once that number drops, the filibuster ends.

You could have just as easily Manchin or Sinema there. Not to mention the other 49 Republicans serving in the Senate.

Mark my words, as soon as they can use it to finish destroying the country, the republicans will kill the filibuster and pack the supreme court with q-anon crazies.

Guess it’s up to McConnell to eliminate the filibuster to consolidate his naked power grab once voters become irrelevant.
