Vaccine mandates are causing teachers who don’t believe in science to quit, nurses who don’t believe in medicine to quit, and police who don’t believe in public safety to quit.

I’m not seeing the problem here. (not to mention the culling of the stupid.)

RIP Colin Powell. At any time I could have voted for him to be our President.

more things you pro’bly already know:

    • U.S. doctors (10-20) that came out against vaccines

    • U.S. doctors (984, 980) that recommend vaccines

    • Covid-19 has already killed more Americans than WW II did

    • Covid-19 has killed more than 100 times more Americans than all terrorist attacks ever — combined

    • Covid-19 is the leading cause of death of police officers

    • In 2020 and 2021, more than four times as many police officers have died from COVID-19 than from gunfire

    • Some Americans say they would do almost anything to support our police officers, and to defeat their killers

    • Some Americans say they would do almost anything to defeat any foe that kills Americans. Covid-19 has slaughtered an average of 900 American citizens a day since 2020

    • Some Americans remain un-vaccinated

    • Some Americans are completely full of s#it — all talk, and no more willing to actually defend our country than Benedict Arnold was

Yep, the anti-vaxxers think that the COVID vaccines still need more testing… but they also flock to even less tested “cures” if they like the opinion pieces that they hear…

Regarding the “need” for more testing, I’m reminded of this quote:

    “Slow the testing down, please!"

You know from whom it came.

“Travis Campbell, 43. A Bristol, Virginia vaccine skeptic who has publicly urged others to get the vaccine after being hospitalized with COVID. His decision not to vaccinate was influenced at first by vaccine disinformation. He has recovered from his illness.”

The anti-vaccine/anti-mask public face FOX “News” pumps out to their wilfully-ignorant viewers is 180̊ out of phase with their own,-house corporate policies, which are far stricter than anything coming out of the Biden White House.

For example, this is what passes for “humor” over on the Crotch Couch, when they were mocking the idea or need of world-wide COVID vaccinations.

Vaccine hesitancy, along with vaccine inequality globally is prolonging the pandemic, and it also makes the risk for new variants more likely, and according to a recent article at CNBC:

FOX has been doing everything humanly possible to kill and sicken as many of their viewers as possible since the pandemic began, and they’re still at it.

Here’s another example, where it took only a few minutes for Fox and Friends to use and promote anti-vax conspiracy theories after the passing of Colin Powell.

As usual, what the Crotch Couch didn’t bother to tell their viewers (That meme began to percolate on Fox News and social media) is that the 84 year-old Powell was battling Parkinson’s, multiple myeloma cancers, and had animmune system that was severely weakened by his conditions.

The C&L link has the actual video and the vomitus spewed out by FOX, to wit, that the vaccine is putting people in the hospital and killing them. Add’l links and references are included in that article.

Speaking of that political weasel, Senator Ted Cruz, he poked his anti-vaccine nose into Australian politics by lamenting a wide-ranging vaccine mandate in Australia’s Northern Territory. It was not appreciated. Northern Territory’s Chief Minister Michael Gunne slammed him in the following C&L article (video, text, references, and other links):

Australian Official Disses Ted Cruz: ‘We Don’t Need Your Lectures, Thanks Mate’

After Cruz called their mandate “COVID tyranny” he got this slap-down from Mr. Gunne:

“We don’t need your lectures, thanks mate. You know nothing about us. And if you stand against a life-saving vaccine, then you sure as hell don’t stand with Australia.”

And the ultimate putdown, “I love Texas (Go Longhorns!), but when it comes to COVID, I’m glad we are nothing like you.”

“Nearly 70,000 Texans have tragically died from COVID. There have been zero deaths in the Territory. Did you know that?” Mr Gunne said.

I’m a retired physician, most recently working as a medical writer/educator. When I was still in clinical practice, it was mandated at my hospital that I receive a Hepatitis B vaccination because I handled blood products. It was also mandated that I get tested for TB annually. Somehow, I didn’t consider either of these a “violation of my rights or freedom,” but a necessary requirement for mainly my health, not just my employment.

But today? The anti-vaxx MAGA asshat brigade cannot tolerate anything they feel violates their “rights and freedom.” And they don’t give a damn that their stance is making other people sick and even killing them.

I can’t help but wonder where we would be with COVID in this country if Donald Trump had publicly announced his COVID vaccination and fully and heartily and CONTINUOUSLY endorsed vaccination and encouraged his followers to get vaccinated.

The same followers who demand we call them the “Trump vaccines” but refuse to get them…

Federal mandates are unconstitutional. If businesses wish to impose mandates then that is their right. 95 percent of American seniors, 78.2 percent of American adults, and 76.4 percent of all eligible Americans have gotten at least one shot. That’s pretty darn good! We’ve vaccinated almost all of the most vulnerable, and we’ve certainly vaccinated just about all of those who are vulnerable and willing. Almost 77% of Americans over the age of 12 have received at least one vaccine dose. We have around 50,000,000 that have recovered from Covid, (so they are protected). As an old fart I am not concerned about long term side effects, but I would be concerned if I had young kids who are at low risk in the first place of getting them vaxxed as we do not know the long term side effects of the vax.

Heck yeah that’s a lot of people coerced/forced into the jab, lets see how long they last with those blood clots and heart problems eh? If the vaccines don’t kill you, the boosters will.

It’s also causing people who hear God’s voice telling them “don’t do it, don’t do it” to leave their jobs. Science doesn’t care what you believe, it’s not a religion. It all boils down to power/control issues and the hell with public safety and health. Enjoy.
