We all need to keep firmly in mind that Donald John Trump, from the outset of his candidacy been a willing supporter of the idea of “destroying” the federal government, and as it appears, this is also the desire of most Republicans, these days.
Donnie John’s antipathy toward government is well-documented – especially as towards all parts of the Justice Department and especially the Federal Bureau of Investigation! The news that the F.B.I. is being irreparably damaged by this lengthy shutdown is especially sweet music to his ears, as it is THAT part that is currently investigating the Trump Crime family.
And, yes, that’s what we have in the White House – and he’s not even attempting to hide his criminality!
His attempts to intimidate Mueller’s informants is, in itself, sufficient grounds for criminal indictment!
Donnie is running this country more and more like a “mob boss”, not an especially intelligent mob boss, but a mob boss, nonetheless!
