I posted this under Carlson’s latest but another forum user let me know his/her multiple complaints were ignored.
I’ve emailed my 1st complaint about the general state of affairs on GoComics’ site.
*I appeal to other subscribers, paying or non-paying to contact Gocomics at:

Keep it civil!
I’ve been a paid subscriber for the past 6 years and if I receive no response and the current state of affairs continues, I won’t renew. If I choose to remain on this forum using firefox and adblock, it means I won’t see the worst of their ad tricks. Their loss.
Ken Warren suggested:
Scott and fennec both use a fox at their picture, could they be the same person, or is it just a “insiders” Fox News joke?
! Ye gawds! :-o
A Fennec (Vulpes zerda) is an African Saharan desert fox and that’s depicted in her avatar. (There are a few in London’s zoo). It has been in use since I started posting here in June.
The other, probably a Red fox (Vulpes vulpes), has been in use for a couple of weeks or so. I see them often in the small nature reserve my property overlooks. Some consider them vermin.
No comparison. :-| Not even in jest!
DrC: Well, I rather like red foxes and don’t consider them vermin at all. When I lived in the country we upset our neighbours by not “controlling our mole problem”. We thought they were great for the foxes who came into our garden to hunt them from the neighbouring farm. They didn’t like our control methods either. Apparently both moles and foxes are vermin. :-|
But sometimes there are those who take on the red fox’s mantle and act like vermin.
BCS: Hmm, I’ve always thought fennec as a she!
Ahem, fennec, care to clear it up or does it matter?
^ interesting indeed. In the beginning, most people assumed I was male, but I indicated rather quickly I was female. ‘Tis interesting, as you say, fennec. Whatever you are, I think you’re just fine, fennec, my online friend!
fennec: Somehow I thought you’d say it didn’t matter. So be it!
Bcs: Yes, initially I thought you were male. It took a couple of your posts saying it to the contrary that I finally adjusted my mental image.
With some others I still have to do a double-take to remember that one is a male or a female. Thing is, should it matter.
At any rate, Freitas isn’t fennec nor even as cunning as a fox.
