Harley, the fact that he’s let those nominees go demonstrates his ethics are still in. Hell, that his administration is transparent enough for us to find out about these tax issues in the first place is more ethics than Washington has shown since Jimmuh.
Note that Daschle could have been voted in - the Senate loved him. He withdrew, presumably at Obama’s request, but we may never know. As opposed to the Bush Administration’s continual stream of unqualified suck-ups, whom they defended to the death. My God, we almost got Harriet Miers as a Supreme Court Justice!
