As Rachel Maddow said recently as Sunday that this whole racist #gobackthread is simply a distraction to keep us from noticing and understanding what is happening with the drumph’s underhanded, behind the scenes changes to immigration Asylum laws. It’s like everytime the drumph causes a media outrage, he’s doing something detrimental to our rule of law behind our backs!
Even more disturbing was an article about a middle of the night ICE raid on a home that might or might not have housed an illegal immigrant family. So it’s coming down to the dictatorial midnight raids ? How much more similar can this get to Hitler’s SS storm troops raiding homes for those suspected of Jewish faith in order to ship them off to concentration camps? Oh yes …the drumpf is definitely following Hitler’s game plan… the American Jewish people’s protest of Never Again against America’s child concentration camps is very pertinent under this regime… Make no mistake it is becoming a regime rather than an Administration
No one could reasonably believe that Trump is not guilty of lots and lots of stuff. The problem is that I know a bunch of people who UNreasonably believe it. And, a whole bunch of other people who are marginally interested and would believe that the news reports, in which Trump would declare that since the senate found him innocent he is pure as the driven snow. The idea that it is the moral, patriotic, honorable thing to impeach him because he is obviously guilty makes some sense. It makes more sense to believe that it is the moral, patriotic, honorable thing to do what is best for this country, and setting Trump up to be declared innocent by the senate is not in the best interests of this country.

President Donald Trump is facing a firestorm of controversy over his recent racist and xenophobic tweetstorm attacking liberal freshman members of Congress. And for good reason: His series of tweets suggesting that four U.S. congresswoman should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” reads as if it was ripped from a white supremacist manifesto.
It was shocking to hear the leader of the free world make such offensive statements about other elected leaders. But it didn’t stop there. As the criticism increased, rather than retract his statements, the president instead doubled down, insisting that he’s not racist and that the members he’s attacking hate America and hate Israel.

While I also have been deeply troubled — even at times disgusted — by comments from some of these congresswomen about Israel and Jews and have disagreed strongly with some of their policy statements, none of that justifies speaking in such racist and xenophobic terms.
And let’s be clear: Trump’s language was absolutely and unquestionably racist despite his denials to the contrary.
