Syria Shuts Down Internet, Decreasing Chance Of Sex Scandal The State Dept. issued a blunt message to Bashar Al-Assad's regime this week. Hillary Clinton: We are deeply concerned about Syrians' ability to tweet their genitals and capture our attention for a brief moment before bed. Reports of the mass arrests, torture and murder of people who could have launched a sex scandal is causing alarm. Man: They've been organizing revolution with their phones instead of sexting, which is too bad because I need something interesting to write about. The U.S. has condemned the violence, but not called for Al-Assad to resign. Hillary Clinton: MURDER BAD. But he stays until we find solid evidence of infidelity, preferably a photo or even a video we could leave comments on.

Nothing energizes a “free press” in an “intellectual society” quite like a social networker in underwear, well, unless he actually “gets some”. Wars and revolutions are far to unimaginative to capture the American mind.

Not sure if this is going on in your local newscasts but here in Sunny Isles Channel 7 is pushing their shows in the their news reports. For example in the spring they were promoting both American Idle and Glee (ugh). Anything like that happening to anyone else out there? During lunch ABC was promoting Dr.Oz.

lol, “free press” meant a physical press, not the self appointed band of propagandists we have today. Obviously they push hard to obfuscate that fact.

Meanwhile, in US ally Bahrain, medical workers who did their jobs and provided care to inuried protesters are put on trial.

Governing the people, by the moneyed powers, for the status quo, needs to perish from the earth. An actual news media, rather than a gossip show, would help. Fox/ABC/NBC/CBS fall short.“We” need a military base in Bahrain, or thereabouts. They barely rate a county, not a seat at the U.N.

^ It is YOUR naval base there, not ours.

^I don’t think so. We tend to mind to own business and go to war only to satisfy our neighbor to the South.

^ Yeah, The atlantic ocean is east of us, then France, but it’s still a long way…
