Our dogs didn’t have lips for this very reason.
As long as he doesn’t eat the birds or have Garfield over for lunch, no problem.
One of my nieces, around the age of fifteen months (forty some years ago), taught herself to pucker her lips and blow, making a long, low whistling sound. She’d walk around the house, whistle, then grin and start giggling. Cute and funny. I wish someone had gotten it on film.
