Protected speech does NOT include incitement to riot or to commit any other crime. Never has. And, in my opinion, a person who has the ear of many must meet an even higher standard of legality. I, for instance, might get away with (hint hint) mentioning a second amendment solution to a problem, but I would argue that movie or sports stars, or (ex) presidents should not.
People STILL haven’t figured out that he’s nothing more then a sad, lonely, deluded, old man sinking further and further into his dementia, longing for the days when he could spew his nonsense everywhere. Nowadays, NO ONE CARES what sludge he dredges up from the decaying remnants of his “brain”, except for a shrinking minority of die-hard MAGAotts and other deluded losers.
First Pillow Man now Herr Groppingfuror starting their own website on which to spew their litany of insanity and lies because they’ve been banned from sites which have standards. One’s heart bleeds for these poor martyrs … /s
I think the Twitter ban is permanent. It would seem, then, that the FL gambit is frivolous at best. Or just stupid; after all we are considering the FL legislature …
(The facebook ban is indefinite and the review board declared that facebook must either make it a permanent one or set a definite end date.)
AGAIN… this is a corporate decision based on his violations of Twitter’s Rules of Usage that EVERYONE has to agree to. This is NOT a 1st. Amendment issue.
Of course Freedom of speech applies to prevent the government from outlawing your speech. It doesn’t stop private companies. However, I know that these republicans would also support a bakery if it refused to create a cake for an LBGTQ group. Which of course, is exactly the same.

It seems Facebook and Twitter need to open amusement parks to be exempt from Republican stupidity. Face World? Twitter Gardens?
