Usually the sentence ends with something like “just go away” or “just shut up” This was a major factor in Stalin’s policies and it’s no nicer in ours. It never solves the problem, it just makes it worse.
I understand that blacks have a whole bunch of legitimate complaints, but if the First Nations ever decide to even the score, Unega will really be in big trouble.
Black Seminoles were disallowed by the ruling Seminole leadership about 20 years ago. So unfortunately whites aren’t the only ones doing it. Just the largest and most powerful.
If it’s something that’s harming people, you can bet the BIA will be helping make it happen… while spouting platitudes about how they’re making everything better.
I hate to credit the present ‘powers that be’ with enough intelligence to enable this scenario ’cause it reeks of false conspiracy theory. My problem is I would never think along the lines of disenfranchising our Native Americans. So I even now often forget how truly, deeply evil the majority of this administration is. I also still underestimate their intelligence which is the most dangerous aspect. If only some of the insiders would develop a grain of conscience and anonymously leak some more incriminating hard evidence….
