Judging by how much alone time Les has, I’d say the “someone hot” he’s into, is HIMSELF!

I gotta admit, Tiffany isn’t too subtle here, but I’m thinking most men appreciate this direct line of communication rather than vague hints a man is supposed to pick up on, even if Tiffany’s conclusion from Les’ response is entirely in left field.

Maybe Les should start telling people the things he hears when Bets is “visiting” Gunther.

I’m glad Tiffany asks him directly about it without trying to figure it out using some tricks. I wonder how Les will react now that Tiffany knows about his secret love… I still think Les was talking about himself, but I’m curious to see if he’ll will be angry with Tiffany for being nosey or with Bets for telling her about his talk with Punk.

And as I feared, she made her first mistake, asking the dishwasher if he’s “into her.”

Amazingly and quite Happily he said “NO.” Which is a bit odd because he’s been in lust with Tiff since H/S.

Tiff, WHY did you ask him point blank?? Now, after the dust settles with this train wreck, and he gets over the SHOCK of “What’s makes You think I got a thing for Nancy??” he’s going to think he actually HAS a shot with you and be after you relentlessly, and annoyingly.

But the one I’m really worried is Bets who told Tiff about Knox’s conversation with his cat in the first place. Gunny had better have his backpack ready to administer “Frontier Justice” to a vengeful Knox. AGAIN.

If she’s a trick then he could be into her. If the price is right.

So a single guy talking to his cat about who he thinks is hot? My guess is most here are assuming the wrong plumbing for the mystery love.

What I said… someone being “hot” referred to someone being hot under the collar… mad at him.

What an odd question to ask any guy. If I were Les I would wonder if Tiffany was interested in me.

Luann’s Mom overhears, gets severe migraine,takes day off

Les has no idea Bets overheard him talking to his cat. He would never suspect that is why Tiffany is asking him that odd question. It is much more likely that he would think Tiffany is interested in him and wants to know if he feels that same.

As I, and a few others, were saying? Of course its the owner, Nancy. I doubt if it would be the co-owner, Frank, Now there would be a plot misdirection twist! Oh don’t worry, a huge one is about to come, but I won’t try to predict, just yet.

I sure hope the Evans does show Tiffany being any dumber than she is today. Like by telling Les what Bets said to her.

Why are the only choices Tiff or Luann’s Mom? I was waiting for the inevitable sideways twist. This is Luann World after all ! Fun times ahead ! ;-)

Maybe he was talking about a regular customer and not someone who actually works there.

I wonder why Les’ answer has a question mark after the “no”. If he was saying a definitive “no” then it should have an exclamation point. As it is, it looks like he’s doubtful if that is the right answer.

Tiffany realizes she is an female incel that not even a 6 like Les is not interested in.

I am guessing that Les told Punk that someone at work was overheated, or angry, and this scenario was only there to create the opportunity for Tiff and Stef to talk, and to insert Kip into the plotline.

Les may have something to do further in this arc (already at 5 weeks), as they gave him a week or more of talking to his cat, showing an absolute lack of personal ambition, and not knowing how to stop a toilet from running. If all he gets is this, they may as well retire the character from boredom.

At least nobody is bored with this arc. People just like drama. You can’t have drama everyday even in a make believe world.

Who can blame Les? Nancy DeGroot is one hot woman. Remember the affair she had with T.J.

Supposedly Nancy and Tiffany are the only two women working at the Fuse. So if Bets overheard Les correctly talking to Punk, it has to be one, or, the other. It would weirder if Les, the bad boy loner, was “in to” an older woman.Usually Greg and Karen don’t do weird. Obviously either Les is lying, or, there ARE other women working at the Fuse, and, Tiffany in one of her self asborbsion states, deliberately overlooks their existance.

Isn’t it possible that Les admires one of the other guys? Who says it can only be women?

Fast forward to Les yelling at Gunther for blabbing, Gunther looking confused while he’s julienning something, Betts running in and admitting it was her, Les turns on Bets, Gunther attempts some sort of defense of Betts, she’s totally turned on and he carries her into the bedroom. Tiff carries on, alone.

Susan123 said at least no one is bored with this arc, but that made me realize I kind of am (not that anyone is forcing me to read or comment on it.) The longer it goes, the more I think it will end up that Bets misheard and Les was just talking about the hot kitchen. I hope they wrap it up by Saturday and go on to something else.

Les’ way of answering Tiff’s question leads me to think he is into Tiff and not Nancy. But, so what if he is into Nancy? She is well-drawn for a woman her age. I don’t know Nancy’s age because time flows awkwardly in LUANN. Besides, it’s not like Nancy will reciprocate his feelings.

I would say he is.

Notice the fan in panel one? I think Les has been getting hot at work and Bets misunderstood him.

That is a large shift schedule, no way their employee numbers are only three.
