Hey Tiff, Don’t instantly believe the worst about Les. He’s not going to risk losing all of your friendships, to steal an almost worthless, Kippy class ring.

If it was a Superbowl ring or diamond/gold ring…. yes, maybe.lol

Stef would have a hard time suing Tiff. There was never any contract drawn up. An inventory of her items was never taken. Tiff could be lying about there even being a ring.

I’m thinking, after the ring issue is resolved… Stef has gotta go.

I don’t think he did it. I’m interested in how Tiff plays this.

Les has motive and opportunity: he owes his mom thousands of dollars, he thinks stef is an idiot AND she advertised having a ring worth thousands.

Oh Tiff, don’t ruin your relationship with Les over Stefi. She is not worth it. Les had a hard life and does not need this. He might seem sleazy at times but he would not steal. He grew up with a mom who was a criminal and he despises her. Stefi’s threats are empty. She can’t prove moving the boxes caused the loss of her ring, that someone stole it, or even that the ring was even in the box. There was no inventory taken for each box. The court will toss her case out. If she has several boxes, it could be in a different box. Etc. Just ignore her and leave Les alone.

Is Steff quite sure she actually put the ring into storage – and in that box? Has she actually searched her belongings?

Even so that still does not mean Les stole a fake Dimond that’s worthless.

Unfortunately . . . Stef does kind of have a point here. I mean, considering my family and I moved over twenty times when I was growing up, there have been occasions and instances where certain movers would pilfer or steal some of our belongings for one reason or another.

This time I’m rooting for Les. Why would Les want that ring…

Stef, you storing your junk with Tiff was YOUR bright idea.

And why? Because YOU were too darn cheap to pay for a storage unit yourself.

I don’t think it’s Les. He wouldn’t steal a worthless class ring. Based on Kip’s attitude a few times, being disappointed with Stef, he probably saw it in the box and took it back.

When I moved to Florida, there were lots of things left in the garage to be organized. That included luggage. NEW luggage. We had so many contractors coming and going and the garage door was open a lot for deliveries. Apparently when I went into the house to get payment, the luggage “disappeared”. I didn’t notice it was missing in all the chaos. UNTIL I had to take a trip soon after. -————Another time, we were had a contractor installing a French drain in our basement (not in Florida). After he was long gone, one day I noticed all my collectible Beatle albums were missing from the basement.

Les is many things, most not good, but he ain’t a thief.

I don’t think anyone stole the ring. I think it either fell out of the box or Steph misplaced it. And I bet she’s going to find it and be like “oopsey-poopsy, now hard feelings guys?” I think everyone has had just about enough of her.

OK, how could Les have known that Stef had the ring and where it was stored? He would have had to dig through all of the boxes until he found it, which he clearly didn’t do.

Why do I get the feeling that it’s going to turn out that the ring isn’t really missing at all and it’s just stored somewhere else that Stef forgot about? Then she’ll get all smiley and sweet and act like she didn’t just accuse everybody of being a thief.

Les stole it! Les got cut from his high school football team and always wanted a ring like that!

Stef probably forgot that she was wearing the ring on a chain around her neck…

I really hope Tiffany doesn’t replicate Stef’s behavior and start suspecting her old friends Les and Ox. On the other hand, Les or Ox may have seen if the box was open or sealed. Or they might have noticed Kip taking the ring, or Stef hiding her ring for some very mysterious reason…

Darn, I was hoping we’d see that Dez has her breaking point and rip Stef a new one.

Plot twist, Kip took the ring to give to his new girlfriend.

Les may not be the most social person in the world, but I know that he’s not a thief.

I can’t believe Tiff is stupid enough to let Stef’s threats panic her.

But then, G&K reduce all their characters’ intelligence when it suits them.

Let me get this right. Tiff is taking all the heat while her partner, whose idea the “Waremanse Business” was in the first place and who planned to share in the profits, stands around trying to figure out who to point the accusing finger next. I think that about sums it up.

Later comment for me, recovering spending a few expensive days in NYC. Last time was a least 40 years ago. LOVE New York, but Chicago is all I need in a major city. My first instinct was to, for me not characteristic, to think that Tifffany has approached Les with both trepidation and sadness, thinking about asking him if he stole Steph’s ring. In other words, I forgot the innocent until some kind of proof of guilt, and giving the kid a break, which I always advocate for me. Shame on me. Did he? I don’t think so, but the resolution is next week. Les don’t hurt Tiffany, she is a good friend, who has accepted you for who you are. A quirky kid, but not a criminal, and she fully knows that witch, Ann, your evil, psychotic mom. (Leaves me thinking Tara might be up soon and possibly her evil, psychotic relative, Sheila).

This is bad.

Finally, some logic. But it’s still only Steff’s word that there was a ring, so she’d have a hard time suing anyone. Although Les’s actions were suspect, there are many reasons the ring is missing….never packed, fell out before, during or after storing, Kip took it back. It’s time for Kip to show up. This will be tough for Tiff to accuse Les. Ox may be around to shed some light in this mess. ;-)

This whole mess started when Stef overheard Tiff willing to look after Dez’s plants. You just have to water them now and then, and they’re looked after.

Stef didn’t even want to pay for storage – she thought she could take advantage of her roomie for FREE.

Even if Stef did take the matter to court, she won’t be able to hide that cold, hard fact from the judge.

So, here’s a theory. Bimbo actually did throw a ring she supposedly treasures loose in a box. While moving, through ring rolled out through a loose flap, and Ox scooped it up. Because he was doing the majority of the lifting, he stuck it in his pocket to hand to Tiffany later but simply forgot. While everyone is busy making accusations against Las, Ox will produce the ring.

I have a theory on this….Les DID take the ring….at Kip’s request. He wants to break up with her and figures he will never get the ring back by just asking. So he asked Les or Ox to procure it back for him.

How does Stiff, um, Stef, get away with telling Tiff "Or else’? She has no authority here.

Nah, he’s Les likely to have it than anyone. I think Kip took it back before they packed up for summer & Steff did not notice because she was too busy saying “shoog”.This, of course, leaves Tiph as the fall-guy.Looks like Tiph is about to weaponize feminine charm against Les.We should have this wrapped up in a few weeks or so. Maybe could have a spin-off.“Raiders of the lost ring of shoog”. Or “shoog of the rings”. Or “class ring: no way home”.

So Greg is going to torture us some more next week… on some level he must feel the pain of having to drag these thin arcs out to fill an entire six-day stretch.

Who “stores” a ring? She couldn’t take her stuff home before cheer camp, but her ring wasn’t big enough to warrant needing storage.

I think Les, ahole that he is, is innocent. He is too lazy to do all of the work involve in going through the boxes.

Stef is accusing EVERYONE! Tiff, Don’t allow someone that you hardly know or like to cause you to do the same thing she’s doing. Throwing out accusations!

There was a box labeled ‘delicates’ (maybe with lingerie and the ring thrown in..?). Someone like Les could have been attracted by that labeling. Still, having gone through the moving process myself recently, it’s hard to imagine that any worker could find the alone time to open up boxes and then seal them back up in a way that wouldn’t be noticed and without being seen. But this is the comics.

Les is hard at work doing what most people would consider beneath them. He has had this job for years and doesn’t complain about it. But many commenters will still call him a thief with no evidence.

Gunther was also around the storage boxes. Why doesn’t Bets mention him??

I was afraid to look. Les didn’t take the ring. Tiffany is so stupid. She has someone threatening to sue but she doesn’t demand the right to search the room?? If Greg plays his cards right he could keep this going for months! He could introduce a new “customer” every two weeks who is missing some of their personal property. I especially like the way Bets left out GUNTHER. Doesn’t she have a grudge against Les?

Stef’s case would have lasted 5 minutes on Judge Judy.

And what does Luann think of all this?!!

I, for one, am happy to see an arc with Les (potentially) featured. It’s been awhile. Unfortunately, it appears that GnK have decided that Les has appeared somewhat one dimensional since the Punk the cat strips.

Was there any other character who could change face expressions faster, from vapid and dopey to angry and nasty, like Stef does? I mean in the Luannverse.

I still think Miss I’m Better Than You misplaced the ring. It’s in her purse, a pocket, etc. And I bet once it’s found, she won’t even apologize for accusing everyone in a five-mile radius.

I used to think everything missing was stolen. Today I found a “stolen” book under s notebook.

Bet either Steph finds Kip’s ring in her own stuff. If not, Kip saw it in storage and himself took it back.

Predicted storyline: Les will get accused, and then Stef will eventually find out she had it somewhere else all of the time. Or maybe Kip has it.

I’ve been reading for years but finally made an account. I wonder if Kippie dearest secretly took his ring back because he plans to break up with Stef (again).

Why on earth is Tiffany intimidated by Steffi’s threats? She has no proof the ring was ever even there.

Tiff’s instincts are not bad, but I have a feeling the Leslie in not bad this time, either.

Meanwhile, ain’t no way the ring was left in storage.

I find it hilarious (but stupid) that Stef is threatening a lawsuit to somebody whose FATHER IS AN ATTORNEY! Although Stef may not be aware of that fact. People love to try to scare other people with “I’ll sue”. My lawyer of the past (R.I.P.) once told me, “Somebody can sue you because you don’t have blonde hair. That doesn’t mean they’ll succeed.”

I swore yesterday that if I read one more post saying Kip took the ring back, I would scream! Fortunately, I have resisted the urge and thereby not alarmed my neighbors. Of course, everyone has a right to their opinion. And I will repeat the mantra “It’s only a comic. It’s only a comic.” Should it turn out that Kip DID take the ring, I promise to eat a piece of humble pie upon reading it, but I’m not getting out my plate and fork just yet. :-D

I would like to see Stef gone regardless of the ring resolution.

Luann should said “So sue me” good luck on collecting such judgements unless you are on a TV show that covers the costs.
