I don’t think customer satisfaction was on the rubric so Tiffany was not inclined to include that. Thank Goodness because Bets was a bad customer. Wonder if Les overhears and tells Gunther Tiff got an A despite the mess Bets caused and perhaps add that Ox and Tiff took their places and had a good time. Just maybe it will wake up Gunther into realizing Bets was not the girl for him?? Unlikely, though.

Tiff’s on a roll — she got a big A on her paper and now she’s being an even bigger self-absorbed A~~ in person.

But once she comes down from cloud 9, I think she’ll at least try to do the right thing by talking things over with Gunther. It’ll be interesting to see what the next chapter in their evolving friendship will bring.

I wonder if Les will enlighten Tiff about Gunther’s current state of mind as her “A” paper and project is essentially the trigger to Bets’ meltdown and he has certainly overheard her as he scrubs away on those pots and pans. Sure this unfortunate event in Gunnie’s life probably would have happened eventually so one could thank Tiff for saving Gunther some pain and suffering down the road but right now the dude is pretty miserable while Tiff is flying high. And if Les does tell Tiff, does she show any compassion or does she revert back to the “all about me” high school Tiff????

I can’t believe they took such an edgy, refreshing character like Bet and turned her into this! Bets is witty, confident and does not feel any shame about being a geek. She’s whip smart. What were Tiffany’s scores in business before bets started tutoring her? She kept Bernice from finding out that Tiffany was having a party by catching it on social media1st in doing her a solid. Only TJ would be smooth enough to do Something like that, And it was exciting to Have some of those qualities in One of the women.

I think today’s edition reflects a lot of modern business attitudes. As long as there are profits, an “A” in this case, doesn’t matter whether, or not the products are inferior, superior. Tiffancy used deceit of omission to get those "profits:.

    Correct Me wrong here.

But Tiffany did use that “pirate dinner mess,” as the basis of her report, leaving out all the negative stuff, right?

I wonder what else she left out?

The fact that (with the exception of harpist, maybe) she had free labor, in the persons of Ox and Old Smiley.

    Free food from Dez’s garden.

Conducted a commercial enterprise from a residential area that I would guarantee-darn-tee you, is NOT “Zone for Business.”

That fact that Tiffany probably conducted that business WITHOUT, “(Health*) Permits, Insurance, or Taxes.”

Plus, and most importantly, she didn’t receive a single dime of profit.

Yet, she gets a “A.” Did she get that “A” for her “compelling concept?”

Or did she flat out LIE…, excuse Me. Greatly Embellish about really happened that night, but it in her report?

One “A” doesn’t guarantee a diploma. And up until this point, Tiffany has been struggling in college. What would happen if Tiff’s professor, (Dr. Fabbi?) decides to make Tiffany a “teacher’s assistant” based on that one “A?”

That “A” has gone to Tiff’s head.

She may soon find herself In over her head.

    With NO friends.

I’m happy for Tiffany. From a girl only interested in her beauty, to a super depressed lady who ate to compensate, to someone who gets an A in a business class. Kudos on her evolution. She’s still very self-centered, but more mature than before. Would the younger Tiff ever have asked for help in a class? Will she reach out to Tiff with thanks for her help? (Btw, I hope they bring Bets back.) Will she notice Ox? Maybe that’s more than we can hope for.

Bets is a social media influencer. That’s all she cares about. Look at her and Gunther. She only started hanging around with him when she found out he makes awesome cosplay outfits. Everything between them from her side has been about Gunther making outfits for her….nothing else. From Gunther’s side, it’s been different and now he’s learning (hopefully). Bets only wanted Tiff’s Table For Two so she could have Gunther make outfits and she could post about it – nothing else. $300 ?? I’ll bet she makes more than that off ads/sponsorship on her social media.

Tiff is off to A great start! Unless this was a “project” for her business course, it wouldn’t matter what happened in reality. Her teacher obviously thought it was a great concept with business potential. Not that Tiff would be averse to being “generous” with the truth, if it came down to it… :D

Tiff’s business model for “table for two” was targeting romantic dinners not just any themed dinner; Tiff tested it out on a couple that didn’t want a romantic dinner. so of course it didn’t work. But that doesn’t mean the business model is not good. it needs to be tested more than once to get data on it. maybe there will be another chance.

Now I wonder if Bets had the same assignment (assuming she was in that class). Her business model may have been centered around exploiting a relationship to make money off of socal media. But if the relationship is destroyed in the process then I guess that business will cave in a hurry.

My buzzkill-explainer compulsion compels me to set the record straight about this project. March 25-26, Tiff says that the school project is for a “concept” and she has no intention of actually starting the business. It’s Bet’s idea – and offer of money – to actually hold the event.

So the actual prototype implementation wasn’t part of the project or the paper.

It’s funny that I’m called a “troll”. Yesterday, a comment was aimed at me based on something I said six days previously. Obviously was found during a search on all of Bets’ appearances. Focusing on just one cute character to the exclusion of others is just creepy. Focusing on my own comments is both good, in the sense of hoping to achieve reality, but it’s also a form of “trolling”. I haven’t engaged lately. Too much like shooting fish in a barrel.

    @Perplexed and Finny Girl:

I have a really young cousin who likes Cap’n Crunch w Crunch Berries; when I last visited her (before the pandemic) I looked at the box and it didn’t say anything about fruit or berries. So Iooked it up on Wikipedia. Wikipedia explained that the crunch berry pieces were made in 4 colors (at that time): red, green, blue and purple. (So the white ones are new). Wikipedia said no matter the color, they are flavored the same. So this doesn’t sound like something that grows (except in a factory)…

The resilience of bouncing back from a near disaster. Regardless of which client is being catered to. The “A” clients are right behind her. A qualified success for Tiffany. She can’t always be the butt… Bets, though. Nice clash of ideals there. And a great segue to some long sought truths for Gunther. Not to be gauche, but I hope that he got more than just some cos-play.

This is not his first ‘at bat’ with heart ache. Bets gotta grow up. Gunther already is.

And look at the media exposure that his costume making has gotten. That can’t go unnoticed as soon as “Bet’s” audience notices.

This is so much fun. I hope Luann catches up to some of it.
