First of all, count me as surprised that not only does Leslie know the days of the week, but he can spell acceptable abbreviations of the days of the week.

Second of all, why so little food on Wednesday?

Whoa, Nelly! Just wait till Mordy sees this one!

Unexpected show of Les and Gunther – in the Den of Despair, at that!

And Les back to his usual form!

    Well, whattya know.

A Sunday Strip WITHOUT Luann in her bedroom! What a pleasant surprise and welcome change from last week’s drama. I’m even happy to see Les. (For Now) And YES, you read that right.

Nice to see that these two are getting along, kinda. Les is sharing more of the ’fridge and apparently Gunther is allowing Les to sample his cooking. Big change from the time when they first moved in two years ago.

Now about Les’ labelling of the containers. Is this foreshadowing? Preparation for things to come? Because if it IS, then Gunther, My man? You’ll soon be cooking for THREE if things go predictable WRONG at the Farrell mansion. Don’t be surprised to come home and find a new “house guest.”

And “No” I don’t mean another cat. ;)

Is it just me, or does Les look a lot smaller now than when he first appeared in the strip? I mean, when I first saw him, it looked like he towered over Gunther. But now, they look like they’re close to the same height. maybe ol’ Gunth had a growth spurt or something…

Interesting how evans chose to take a break by going to the boys living situation. It’s good that Les is trying to organize but he needs to learn that all the work IS up to him.

If Gunther does the cooking, Les can do all the dishwashing – it is what he does.

    .

In our home, I do about 85 to 90% of the cooking, as I love to cook. My wife does all the cleanup afterwards. Works great.

As usual the drawing is very good. Unfortunately, the boxes in the fridge are a metaphor for the humor in the strip.

Well, Leslie is technically correct. He’s bought (or stolen; who knows?) and labelled the Tupperware-like plastic storage containers. Now Gunther needs to fill them up.

The thing is , filling them up will cost a whole lot more than the containers did, so in that sense this is not a fair deal, Leslie. Think it over….

Not a good idea for Gunther & Les to share any cooking, laundry, etc. Each one needs to learn more about self sufficiency going forward.

Gunther maybe an University student majoring in Engineering , Science and Mathematics who has given too credit to Leslie Knox, a professional dishwasher ; the son of Ann Eiffel, a professional grifter ; who starts projects but lets anothers finish the project will one day get a job at “Dilbert” as a pointy head Boss.

Obituary: We gather today to remember the late, great Luann Degroot. She finally succumbed after a long illness known as loneliness and wasting away self worth disease. She suffered from failed relationships and lack of exposure. After a time, her energy was so low she could only appear in the weekend strips and cameos. She will be sorely missed by her fans; the few that still survive. She is survived by her father Frank and mother Nancy, loving brother and sister in law, Brad and Toni and friends and frenemies.

Les DID buy, and, label, the tupperware (unless Gunther brought it with him, when Al, and, Gunther’s mother “encouraged” him and Les to move into that guest house together.) The least Gunther can do is shop and prepared the meals to go into the tupperware, and, warm it up each day. Sounds like a fair distribution of labor. (not.)

Any entree put in the refrigerator today will not still be good on Saturday. Not anything with meat or seafood. You can plan ahead for 3 or 4 days at the most. Everything else goes in the freezer.

Sorry, but I’m not giving Les a trophy for his “hard work” making containers for food that someone else will buy and cook. If I buy a container and put a nice label on it with my name and the word “Bank”, will somebody fill it up with money for me?
