At this point, she’s seriously regretting selling her pillows, bedsheets and blankets to Cheap Ed….

Me O.M.G. too! It’s like professional sports players who never wash their game socks, shoes or underwear – whatever they consider their lucky charm. This is Dez’s camping lucky charm.

Am I the only one who thinks that Deez ought to be committed? She’s a real screwball.

She is moving in where she will have a roommate, right? Is the roommate there already? If so, why wasn’t the room already prepared? Also, WHY would Tiffany have her room all ready to leave without knowing where she was going? Just to add to the questions- at my dorm we could met potential roommates before committing to the room. Why not here?

In this case, I would politely say,“Thanks but no thanks!” I think it’s rude of her to even offer this piece of -—-, but then…look who offered it?

It just occurred to me that Tiffany could have easily played Caroline in the Two Broke Girls TV series of a few years ago.

Tiff MIGHT want to get used to “aroma” coming from that bedroll. Because her new hovel…., Uh, I MEAN dorm room, as well as her new “roommate(s) are liable to wind up, STINKING.

And let’s HOPE Tiffany’s next domicile is at least partly furnished, seeing that she’s sold all of her old furniture. Least she be sleeping in that “Funken-Phyfe” Sleeping bag. :)

I’m curious. Do you think this current round of changes might signal that Greg is ready to return Tiff to her “svelt” look, as opposed to her “Ashley Graham” look? I mean, if she’s skimping on that much for housing, clothing and furnishing, I’d think she’d also be skimping on food as well. Then again, if she also doesn’t exercise, she might still not return to that image. Anyway, just curious…

It’s protected her from the elements, and she’s protected it from the washer/dryer room.

I think that is a happy OMG from Tiffany. She is amazed that her karma is getting her the room so fast. She does not have to sleep in the bag, just have it near her for it to bring her good karma.

I thought Dez was just spiritual, into nature and supernatural things. But she’s turning into being just weird and ridiculous. A magic sleeping bag?

Bernice allows that smell in room?

Are GnK signaling a karma shift in Tiff’s life? Has her decision to “stop the pity party” on November 30th flipped her life path? She should ask Dez to brew a mystic life tea for you… and hope it doesn’t involve a panda.

In the last few days, Tiff’s association with these two has proved to be uplifting. Is she forming a new “family.”

Dez, I’m sure you believe in karma. So why don’t you try explaining to Tiff that she’s earned every bit of bad luck by things she did to others when she was still rich materially.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to see Ann Eiffel pulled down, but Tiffany has a huge lesson to learn about how to treat people. And a lot of other lessons. So far she hasn’t seemed to accept that a lot of things are her fault, no one elses.

Two comments: why are people so obsessed with Tiffany’s so called weight gain? She hardly qualifies as obese from what I see, and if so, so WHAT?!! Second, Luannverse to the rescue. Contrary to rather shrill viewpoints, this comic character is not being tortured. I do thionk her arc has a real point, a real progression, and I chose to see it a a resilience, and growth, not poor little rich girl being meanly beat upon

Crashed at a place and was offered a blanket to use to sleep on. It was called the Blanket Of Lust. I would rather live in that sleeping bag than even touch the blanket.

IT’S THE LABEL!!! I have NO idea as to the rarity of a designer name sleeping bag label, but Tiff would, and I think she’s just seen it. I suspect that the thing is worth a fortune…

Tiff is joining the rea world. For the first time in her life she has ral friends and is starting to focus o her future. F… Ann Eiffel. Let’s get on with her life.

Regardless of the validity of Karmic help, I knew that Dez would help Tiffany in her own way and with great generosity. She’s a great woman. Tiffany and Dez should become great friends. It would be very great for Tiffany. But I’m a bit sad for the brevity of the cohabitation of the three.

That sleeping bag could use a few rounds through the wash.

I’m really starting to not like Dez. I thought she had some level of hygiene. but the more I learn about her. the more grossed out I become.

Sorry Dez, you mean well but you of all people should know each person makes their own Karma, you can’t give anyone else any—good or bad.

If yu look very closely at the wisps coming off the sleeping bag in the final frame, you’ll see they are “winking” at Tiffany !

Karma is often what we make of things. Empowering an object to be lucky/have good karma (sleeping bags, soxes, not washing a uniform) is about as old as humans have been around.

RIP Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson. I saw them perform live at Midem in Caan one year. Good singer. Sad.

so this is actually the end of the semester, will tiff ‘go home’ for xmas?

Hmm… at first I thought Tiff was noticing something on the sleeping bag that would help her. Then, after reading it again, I realized she’s looking at it in wonder because her room is ready. Am I correct in my assessment? I guess we will find out tomorrow! :D

Back in the Army, we called it our “fart-sack”.

I’ve long wished that Dez could get her own arcs (or at least more character development) but she seems to have been designated the resident “giver of advice” to the original high school characters. When she was first introduced to the strip (or when we met all of her friends before she actually showed up) I thought that Dez would be part of a new group of college friends who would expand Bernice’s experiences from high school to university life. I figured that we’d get to know that group of people and their lives and they would get integrated into the strip far more than they have. But the others disappeared and Dez is, as I say, just a new age advice giver. It’s a shame – she initially reminded me of people I’ve actually known in modern university settings.

Thought she couldn’t afford the room.

One thing I have noticed over the years is that some people live their lives awash in odors. Apparently they’re okay with it, but I find it disgusting.

My beloved Tiffany is experiencing many new things, broadening as a human being.

There could be a nest of baby skunks in there.

I’m glad we can’t smell this comic strip.

Somebody—a lot of somebodys, in fact—don’t know what “karma” means. Or maybe I should say, “meant”, since it means what it means now, no matter how far that is from the original meaning (basically, “a chain of consequences”).

You would think that thing would stink up the entire dorm room. I’m surprised Bernice tolerates it.

Tiffany is starting to realize she’s more than a pretty face and who her real friends are.

Finding today a bit confusing to interpret. Maybe because I have not had a coffee or a pipe today….. but:

Tiffany already is holding the sleeping bag and knows it is not “pristine” smelling in panel two. So….

a) does the “O.M.G.” signify just that the smell is worse that she initially thought?

b) does the “O.M.G.” signify something new and adverse is happening (like a squirrel or a creepy bug or some such thing is working its way out of the bag)?

c) does the “O.M.G.” signify that Tiffany really believes that the smelly sleeping bag is “magical and karma-filled” because she is relieved her room will be ready tomorrow?

or

d) does the “O.M.G” signify Tiffany’s new realization that tomorrow is the day and she will have to apparently accept living in a dorm room with another student…. apparently one she may not know

It seems a bit of a stretch to think that multiple of the above could be true simultaneously… so I suspect one of the above is what is intended… but which one?

I want to laugh at the hippies but last night I witnessed my brother in law stand in one position from the 4th quarter thru overtime.

Go out and buy a blanket, Tiffany. Get one that is on sale at Target. It is a necessity that you can keep on using, and you won’t be blowing your money.

Somehow the bag has to get to Ann…

Wait until Tiff discovers that the sleeping bag has also been sheltering a family of Field Mice in all that Good Karma.

Funky bedroll doesn’t help Tiff’s funk.

Well, now… Looks like the magic sleeping bag has some magic after all. I can’t believe all the single rooms are expensive suite. Surely there must be some cheap-enough single rooms.

Take a deep whiff, Tiff!

Potent? Yes. Full of Good Karma? Yes. Would I sleep in it? Never!
