I would have gone with watching the Star Wars movie for 150 minutes (and I don’t even like the series).

Classic sibling banter. In my brother’s case even 150 months wouldn’t be enough time to get it clean.

There’s nothing a poor vacuum cleaner can do yet. Tons of stuff has to be removed from the floor and either discarded or find a place for it.

The cleaning materials look appropriate for a bathroom or kitchen with numerous wet spills. The problem seems to more disorganization and clutter.

Brad says, “I am not picking up your darn underwear!”

Well, Brad, you made a commitment with 150 minutes, I’m sure it’s not what you expected, but you’re committed now!

Perhaps a clean room is the first signal that Evans and Evans are sending us that Luann is finally, sort of going to start acting like an adult? Could it be perhaps the first step to moving out of her parents home?

2017 was rather jumbled for the comic strip. Could this “cleaning house” be symbolic of Gary deciding to clean up the strip? The revolving door got too busy.

I was hoping the mess would remain, and Brad & Luann would have gone to the movie instead. But, that appears not to be in the forecast.

I do like Luann wearing a ponytail, however. Perhaps, since I believe Pru still lives with the DeGroots, she may end up popping into the arc. But, since she was not at the gift exchange, it is more likely she is away… perhaps visiting friends or relatives in New York.

Maybe Luann & Brad will uncover in the mess a long lost toy that is perhaps a rare ORIGINAL 1977 Star Wars toy she somehow acquired and they decide to sell it on eBay and become wealthy?

Or, perhaps, because today is the first day of legal, recreational cannabis sales in California, and presuming Pitt is indeed in California, perhaps some new cannabanoidally infused Cheech & Chong sort of character will stop by the DeGroots and eat all the errant snacks on Luann’ s floor due to having the “munchies” and save Brad & Luann some time?

Does anyone still use a bag vacuum cleaner?

Luann’s room is so messy. LOL And she never cleans it. LOL

first ya gotta get all the stuff off the floor and all surfaces. That’s a lot of picking up, sorting and putting away, before the actual cleaning and vacuuming begins.

I could easily do it by myself in under an hour

seems like Brad has given this gift (of time) to Luann before and it backfired then. Brad doesn’t learn. This is a recurring theme just like the state of Luann’s room. I’m guessing they’ll put in 15 minutes. accept defeat and then go to the movies.

No problem! Just need a good backhoe, bulldozer, front end loader, flame thrower, portable garbage incinerator, etc.

Or maybe ground-penetrating radar, and core samples, to see where to dig first!
