A pair o’ meciums talking.
I never herd of amoobas beefore.
The males are called amoobulls. Together the pair is called a twomooba.
They awake each morning to the strepto-cock-a-doodle-doo
They look like tardigrades or water bears. Those suckers can survive space trips – on the outside of the ship!
the kids are bored – they just wanna split…
Do married amoebas live separate lives?
Amoeba kids leave home at an early age.
Took a minute
Any anneighrobic organisms around?
Do their parents have to sign paramecium slips?
The one talking looks like a cross between a Paramecium (with Cilia – the hairlike structures) and an Amoeba (with Pseudopods – the blobby ‘false-feet’ extensions).
The relatively thick layer on the outside makes me think – hmm – cell wall – Algae? – (but that doesn’t go with the pseudopodia). The Green inside – Chlorophyll?
I love this!
