My son has always been an early riser. When he was going on 4, the ex & I solved the “make me breakfast” problem on weekends by setting his breakfast up the night before, leaving his bowl of cereal & daily vitamin on the kitchen table & a small pitcher of milk in the fridge.
I think she has run off with Jake from “Jake Likes Onions”. His last comic was January 9th, coming up on his 6 month anniversary. He must be well diversified to be able to live off one comic for that long.
My mother has never been good first thing in the morning. Ever. When I got old enough, she’d put bowl, spoon and cereal box out where I could get it, out just enough milk in a small (creamer?) pitcher the fridge, also where i could get it. If dad was home (he was an airline pilot as well as a military reservist pilot) he’d make hard boiled eggs if he felt like it. (Those and p &j were the limits of his culinary skills until the nice microwave meals came out.)
