Republicans hate this bill because they think it will work. Can’t have gas prices continue falling & inflation recede, while avoiding a prolonged recession that gives them no talking points in 2024.

Supply side economics, privatization, and unregulated capitalism are NOT working — as the forced-birth party has promised us they would — to prevent inflation/recession, so it’s time to blame someone else.

Like I said before, Republicans are desperate for there to be a recession.

If you thought inflation was bad at 9.1%, hold onto your hat. Now that the Dems have passed their “Build Back Better” bill, it’s going to seem like these were the good old days.

Inflation – Caused by trillions spent by the gov’t. How to fix? Dems – Spend more. Great thinking. Wonder why Biden / Harris polling is now in the 20’s.

Gas has now fallen, locally 27% from the high. I’m sure Ms. Benson will take note any day now after her incessant reminders when prices were rising.

This baseless, knee-jerk negativity is just sad. Lisa must have been crying while having to draw this irony, knowing her beloved Republican Party has nothing to offer America but negative cartoons.

I just don’t get this. You CONservatives are really stretching.

Gas prices are falling because people are traveling less. Less demand the price lowers. Diesel, OTH, is not dropping. Partially, because oil being refined produces more gas and less diesel. Second, because demand is not dropping. Because diesel is used in 18-wheelers, train locomotives, and tow boats. Most every method of delivering the goods people use. Thus, the cost is baked into all goods.
