Interesting. So polls matter now. From 2016 to 2020, I read that polls didn’t mean a thing from so many right-wing sources.

LOL, when Trump’s approval ratings polled low Trumper’s said polls were bogus and didn’t matter… but now that a Democrat is suffering low rating polls, suddenly Trumpers think that polls are gospel and all that matter…

Kamala is doing great and VP’s aren’t expected to do much. Their job is to become President should the need arise. Which is why they aren’t given many jobs.

The problem seems to be more the media focusing on BS than Kamala Harris not doing the great job she has in healing USA relations around the world.

I see the RW spin machine’s been working overtime on their propaganda to tarnish Harris. It was the same thing they tried to do to Biden during the 2020 primaries and it backfired.

Let me put it in short words. “Polls do not m̵e̵a̵s̵u̵r̵e̵ um… r̵e̵f̵l̵e̵c̵t̵ um… say anything about how well the job is being done” — unless the “job” is to get good polls of course.

QueMala Eres is under the gun. She is falling out of favor among the Democrats and is polling very poorly. Thing is, she hasn’t been confirmed as VP by congress. And that’s a thing. Usually it’s just a rubber stamp and a given thing, but as the Dems are more unhappy with Biden and Harris, there is an opportunity to replace them both. I have no clue as to who may be in the wings as a possible VP replacement for QueMala but you know that in those smoke filled Democrat back rooms there’s a lot of names being bandied around. First they replace Harris with their hand picked puppet. Then they invoke the 25th Amendment and take out Joe moving their selected VP into the white house. Repeat the VP thing. Yeah It’s pretty far out there but it is a thing. Thing. Thing.

If you are still supporting this administration you are brain dead; they are not concerned about your health and this proves it. Mike Lee (R-OH) also pointed out how “ridiculous” the policy is when hardworking agents who do not wish to get vaccinated will lose their jobs but “people who break the law and come in here” have the option to get the vaccine. “No big deal, your choice, it’s up to you.”Mayorkas was also asked about that during Tuesday’s hearing. “The analysis for migrants encountered at the border is quite different than for the federal workforce that leads by example,” he said.

Bottom line: Bribem and Kantala are both disasters. Again, if you still support this admin, please slap yourself silly and don’t vote ever again. From a lengthy CNN article: Harris’ team was mad Biden had assigned her to handle diplomatic relations with the Northern Triangle nations, in hopes of addressing the root causes of migration to the US, but gave her no role on the southern border itself. That become the most visible crisis in the early days of Biden’s presidency as unaccompanied minors overwhelmed federal government resources. It seemed like an all-around politically losing assignment even though Biden had seen it as a sign of respect because it was the same job Obama had given him as vice president. As CNN has previously reported, Harris herself has said she didn’t want to be assigned to manage the border, aware that it was a no-win political situation that would only sandbag her in the future. But Biden’s team was annoyed that Harris fumbled answers about the border, including when she gave an awkward, laughing response about not visiting it during a spring interview with NBC’s Lester Holt.

For months, Harris has been dodging questions about whether she would visit the border. Eventually, the Biden administration morphed her mission into an investigation of the “root causes” of the border catastrophe. To further her investigation, she visited Guatemala and Mexico last week. To say it was an unmitigated disaster is an understatement. It was possibly the worst foreign trip for any United States vice president in modern history.

Her performance was so poor that even pro-Biden news outlets like CNN were reporting the White House was disappointed in the trip and “perplexed” by her statements. In an interview with NBC news anchor Lester Holt, Harris seemed unprepared when he asked her about when she was going to visit the border. Her excuse was that she had not visited “Europe” either.

This answer was so poor that Meghan McCain of ABC’s The View commented that Harris “sounded like a moron” in the interview. McCain also noted that Harris seems to laugh whenever asked about the question. She remarked that her “nervous laugh is making me nervous that she doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

In her press conference with the Guatemalan leader, Harris stated that migrants should not come to the United States for asylum because they will be returned to their home country. She claimed that “The president and I discussed that fundamentally, most people do not want to leave home, they don’t want to leave the place where the language they know is spoken.”

Despite the challenges of travelling thousands of miles in dangerous conditions, the migrants continue to come to the United States because the Biden-Harris administration has created an open border. Along with stopping construction of the border wall, the new administration ended President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum seekers. In addition, immigration court cases are being “fast tracked” for families that recently crossed into the country from Mexico.

Illegal immigrants have viewed the Biden administration policies as a clear sign to enter the United States. The results are both catastrophic and predictable. According to United States Customs and Border Protection, over 178,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the border in April 2021. The influx is not stopping as the problem continues to explode.

In Guatemala, the vice president was greeted by angry local residents who were upset that the Biden administration policies had worsened the problems in their country. Their signs read “Trump Won,” “Go Home” and “Kamala, Mind Your Own Business.”

The meeting with the President of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei, was not much better. He noted his disagreements with the Biden administration on the border crisis. In a CBS interview that aired right before the Vice President arrived, Giammattei criticized the Biden administration. He said, “We asked the United States government to send more of a clear message to prevent more people from leaving.” He also observed that he was “not on the same side of the coin” as the vice president on the issue of migration.

According to United States Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), “I hope she does visit the southern border very, very soon. It is imperative. The longer she waits, the harder it is for her to explain why she hasn’t gone to view the crisis herself and form her own opinions about what’s going on.”

For Vice President Harris, there will be no escape from the border question until she visits. She was even questioned about it during participation at an LGBTQ pride parade on Saturday.

Not only is her refusal to visit the border a major problem, but her lack of consistency is not helping matters. After telling migrants to stay home during her visit to Guatemala, she changed her tune in an interview on Friday with the Spanish news wire service EFE. She claimed that she was committed to providing a “safe haven for those seeking asylum.”

Vice President Kamala Harris is the epitome of both inconsistency and incompetence.

Harris gives voice to a leftist-progressive narrative about the importance of equity—equal outcomes—rather than mere equality before the law. …Harris contrasted equal treatment—all people getting the same thing—with equitable treatment, which means “we all end up at the same place.” …This may seem like a trivial difference, but when it comes to public policy, the difference matters. A government should be obligated to treat all citizens equally, giving them the same access to civil rights and liberties like voting, marriage, religious freedom, and gun ownership. …A mandate to foster equity, though, would give the government power to violate these rights in order to achieve identical social results for all people. – Robby Soave

Whether she embraces the label “socialist” or not, Harris’s stated agenda and Senate record both reveal her to be positioned a long way to the left on matters of economic policy. From health care to the environment to housing, Harris thinks the answer to almost every problem we face is simply more government and more taxpayer money — raising taxes and further indebting future generations in the process. …Harris…supports an astounding $40 trillion in new spending over the next decade. In a sign of just how far left the Democratic Party has shifted on economics, Harris backs more than 20 times as much spending as Hillary Clinton proposed in 2016. …And this is not just a matter of spending. During her failed presidential campaign, Harris supported a federal-government takeover of health care… The senator jumped on the “Green New Deal” bandwagon as well. She co-sponsored the Green New Deal resolution in the Senate that called for a “new national, social, industrial, and economic mobilization on a scale not seen since World War II and the New Deal era.” …she supports enacting price controls on housing across the country. …The left-wing group Progressive Punch analyzed Harris’s voting record and found that she is the fourth-most liberal senator, more liberal even than Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren. Similarly, the nonpartisan organization GovTrack.us deemed Harris the furthest-left member of the Senate for the 2019 legislative year. (Spoiler alert: If your voting record is to the left of Bernie Sanders, you might be a socialist.) – Brad Polumbo

Analysis of her failed campaign platform:This is remarkable. It would seem impossible to design a $2.7 trillion tax cut that actually hurts the economy, but Sen. Harris has succeeded in that dubious achievement. For all intents and purposes, she has figured out how to have an anti-supply-side tax cut.And there are two other problems that deserve attention.First, as noted in Kyle’s paper, the tax cut is “refundable.” This means that money goes to people who don’t pay taxes. In other words, it is government spending being laundered through the tax code. So Harris claims to be cutting taxes, but part of what she’s doing is expanding redistribution and making government bigger (and encouraging more fraud).Second, Harris is very cagey about how the numbers work in her proposal. Does she want the tax cuts (and new spending) financed by more borrowing? By printing money? By offsetting class-warfare tax increases? Some combination of the three? Whatever the answer, the negative economic damage will be substantially higher if financing costs are included.Considering the poor design and upside-down economics of the rent subsidy scheme and the new tax credit, the bottom line is rather obvious: Kamala Harris wants to buy votes, and she has decided that it is okay to hurt the economy in hopes of achieving her political ambitions. No wonder she fits in so well in Washington!

This is a great cartoon (yes, I am a fervent fan of Lisa Benson!); whether intending or not, Kamala Harris bit off more than she could chew by accepting the Vice-Presidency from President Joseph “Joe the Plumber” Biden. There was a cynical side to his choice of VP: he wanted the black vote. Badly. And her racial heritage, and professional cache, made her the most likely magnet.
