Lame, even for Lisa…
I DON’T like my fossil fuels. I don’t like your fossil fuels either.
This is a weak argument unless you are heavily reliant on the fuel industry for your income or donations. But there is no denying that many people fear any change in technology; and many people who believe technology will not advance beyond what we have now. So I guess this argument works on them.
And the alternate plan to combat climate change is…..
Fossil fuels are already obsolete, Lisa. There is a viable alternate energy source for every situation, so pretending fossil fuels will be required forever is just plain dumb.
Still shilling for the whaling industry, Lisa? How about all those horse and buggy salesmen? Lisa will be left in the dust of history.
And, let’s see. Hurricane Zeta is hitting Louisiana today. Think, think, think…
How stupid does Lisa think people are?
I, for one, am fine with paying $13 per gallon if it means we can cut our dependence on fossil fuels!
A Conservative is someone who stands astride History screaming, “STOP!”
Lisa, the most important thing is to continue to pump greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere as fast as humanly possible.
And we’ll MAKE MONEY!!! What could possibly be more important than that?
One more thing — Anybody wanna take bets on whether Lisa did not keep her doc?
Not that she would, you know, LIE or anything.
And here is Ms. Benson, crying “won’t someone please think of the fossil-fuel companies?!” while trying to convince us that our children really aren’t all that important.
Is Ms. Benson a suburban housewife Trump saved from having “those” people move in to her neighborhood?
Fossil fuels are a finite resource. Why shouldn’t we transition to a renewable source?
Where’s your darling Republican senators, Lisa? Oh, right. Mission Accomplished.
Damn you all to hell.
what is it now, five hurricanes in the gulf states? Or have we turned the corner on those, too?
I just love the head in the sand crowd.
He should have just said we need to stop subsidizing oil drilling (he did say that) and then STOPPED TALKING. That single step would very quickly result in fewer oil wells being drilled because even WITH the subsidies, the market has begun to dictate other forms of energy production. Probably faster than legislative action to stop it.
