They made a series of mistakes. Serious mistakes. I’m really interested in seeing what they say happened, because they might actually tell the truth. Maybe.

Even Bonespurs seems to have gotten the word about the Vincennes incident, thus his statement that it was a probable error.

Funny how our artist can correctly see lies from someone on another continent but cannot see them from the most prolific liar in America. Good one for once.

A bit late on that, Lisa. They already admitted it. Now who was the person who triggered this chain of events?

. . . a bit of poor taste, considering that over 175 innocent lives were lost. Sad. :’(

This incident joins KAL 007 and Iran Air Flight 655 as tragic cases of mistaken identification.

A little late but they have owned up to the mistake.. Sadly this would not have happened if the trump team considered the unintended consequences of their actions. And.. unintended consequences.. and subsequent innocent lives lost will continue……….

ISTANBUL — Iran’s admission Saturday that it brought down a Ukrainian airliner it mistook for a hostile aircraft has prompted calls for a full investigation and for authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Iranian officials said military personnel targeted Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, bound for Kyiv, early Wednesday as it turned toward a “sensitive military site” shortly after departing from Tehran.

The General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces apologized in a statement for what it said was “human error that caused the crash” of the Boeing 737-800, killing all 176 passengers on board.

“We expect from Iran assurances of readiness for a full and open investigation, bringing the perpetrators to justice, returning the bodies of the dead, payment of compensations, official apologies through diplomatic channels,” he said. “We hope that the investigation will continue in the future without artificial delays and obstacles.”

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, urged Iran’s military to also conduct a thorough inquiry.

“This painful accident is not something that can be easily overlooked,” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a statement.

“Further investigation is needed to … prosecute the perpetrators of this unforgivable mistake,” he said, adding that officials must “address the weaknesses of the nation’s defense systems to make sure such a disaster is never repeated.”

Looks like the leaders of Iran can do what the leaders of America cannot; admit when they made a mistake.

They’ve got a pretty damned big rug in Iran Air Flight 655, which we accidentally shot down in 1988, killing 290 innocent civilians, you know.

The Republicans have an assortment of very large rugs in storage to cover the outrages of the Weasel and their McMafia. Iran could probably borrow one or two for a price. The Republicans will sell themselves and everything AMERICA owns for a price. Just call the White House Weasel.

Lying about current events is to be expected until overwhelming proof proves otherwise. This is true of almost all nations throughout history. The silliest of all for me is the Middle East Nations misleading their population in the face of evidence like that Iraqi mouthpiece during the invasion claiming America had been defeated while We pulled up outside. Classic
