Just thinking how many working for Reagan were convicted, but of course the judges working for that AG dismissed the charges on most of them. This time there are a lot more potential characters in this farce.
Sessions set his own trap. He was asked if he knew of any campaign staffers who met with a Russian emissary; he himself said that he had not. Now he’s saying that he kinda overlooked the two meetings he’d had with the Russian, because he met with the Russian in his capacity as a senator. NOT in his role as a member of the Trump campaign. Yet, he was the one who specifically said he didn’t meet with the Russian. Therefore, he set the trap himself, and now he’s caught himself in it.
@txgal. So, obvious, open (written AND videotaped!) voluntarily-spoken perjury is a trap? Nonsense. The Russian connection was publicly discussed many months before Sessions met with the agent of a hostile foreign power. Some trap. No other member of the Armed Services Committee met with the Russians—so Sessions claim of meeting under this pretext is an obvious dodge. If this was a trap, it was lit up in neon flashing lights for Sessions to see it. Nope, it strains credulity to see it as anything but perjury and quite possibly treason. We need a Special Counsel investigation to get to the bottom of this mess. Russian connections with trump need to be thoroughly vetted. Why is this so hard for the republicans to understand? You can’t all be traitors, can you?
Sessions falling under the bus for a Russian laden cabinet. Just another day another connection for the administration that was helped into the White House by Putin. Notice, it is not the President or the bear that ended up in that trap. This is what happens when you don’t vet your cabinet.
Funny how Bill and Hillary’s ties to Russia don’t raise any eyebrows with the lefty news nerds.Millions went to the Clinton’s.
Funny how all the Democrat Senators that are complaining the loudest deny ever having met the Russian Ambassador when there is video and still pictures of them doing so.
Funny how there is no proof of Russian involvement in the election yet the news nerds keep running the same old crap.
Funny how the New York Times started the ball rolling with the Obama administration wire tapping Trump.
Some one or a bunch of somebodies need to go to jail and some more somebodies at least need to be exiled from the professional news nerd world.
