The Republicans stole Obama’s Supreme Court appointment. Now they want to steal his signature healthcare accomplishment, where other Presidents have tried and failed. Can’t have a black Democratic President leading the way. You’d think the Republicans would want to lead with their own ideas, not steal others.

I do personally find it bitterly amusing that after years of demonising “obamacare” and telling people how much they hate it, the Republicans all of a sudden discover that the majority of people actually want it, and that the Republicans don’t have anything better.

Maybe if they had been focused on doing their actual jobs instead of trying to sink the country to damage Obama, they could have had a hand in a properly functional system that they understood in the first place.

Taiwan studied health care systems around the world before deciding on what was right for them. Incidentally, they started looking in 1994, the same year the Conservatives were shooting down Hillarycare for a number of partisan reasons. Now the Taiwanese have a universal world class health care system at an affordable cost while the U.S. wallows in partisan politics and the people suffer.

They’ve had 8 years to come up with the “replace” part. It’s become obvious that the party of no only wanted “no” health care.

Wait, they have the majority in the House, Senate, and a willing hand in the White House. Just repeal it like they tried some 60 times already. It’ll get signed this time, or is that what they are afraid of?

This cartoon is strange, I thought part of their “big plans” including “repealing and replacing” Obama care. If that is so, then this tree shouldn’t have been that big of a surprise, considering the GOP is the one who knocked it down then cried about it being in the way. That “tree” is still alive and giving help to millions, it is not just a knocked over dead tree in the way of those “big plans” it is more likely a handy foil for the right to whine and wring their hands over. Maybe if the congress did their job and worked for the people you wouldn’t have to make up fake “dead tree” funnies.

Either that truck is empty, or its hauling big benefits for the insurance companies.
