Exactly. Gee I wonder why they aren’t reporting a massive failure and probable cover-up?

The United States Embassy in Libya, is in TRIPOLI! The facility in Benghazi was a “consulate”, NOT THE SAME THING, and NOT subject to the same level of security. That’s something the right is ignoring, and an important point. Stevens chose to go to Benghazi, AGAINST THE ADVICE OF THE LIBYANS.

It’s not a story. Now the REAL cover up, 9/11, and WMD’s!

The cartoon works just as well if you replace the words Benghazi with Climate Change. With the storms of the last several years, Benghazi is a tragic distraction from the current event of Sandy. When will people wake up that our world is changing and no matter what is causing it, we can slow it and prepare for it. We can also build our economy while doing so.sadly,C.

many posters here seem to have no memories or they express faulty memories of the western world news in the new 21st century….year 2000 and 2001….all the western governments had Iraqi refugees giving info on WMDs that Saddam BRAGGED ABOUT HAVING. The world knew Saddam used WMD to slaughter Iranis and Iraqis since the 1980s.-the entire WEST believed that Saddam, who was trying to shoot down the UN sanctioned flyovers to keep Saddam at home in Iraq and not again invading his neighbors….had WMDs. He could have buried them under the sands in Iraq or shipped them by truckloads into Syria….satellite photos showed early 2003 convoys…..….so Bush told the truth as it was accepted and known at the time of the justified invasion and ousting of Saddam.-p.s. the MSM is to this day covering up by silence to try to get their “messiah” re-elected. They deserve to lose their “journalist licenses”…

Wow, you need to take some literature and English classes if you think the president said it was a terror attack from day one. And even if you choose to misrepresent what he said, how do you explain the two weeks of “in response to a disgusting movie” charade the White House trotted out. Even if he said terror on day one he said movie on days 2-14. Why?

Is that because you don’t like them and they are the only one reporting on this and putting out infomation? Also, that the media is not requiring the WH to release unclassified information and letting him hold back until he gets information to share and the information is gone through to find out what happened? Come on, this is totally a farce from Obama. He has been so cloudy that no one can see past his cover up. Even if it doesn’t show blame, I am very interested in knowing what happened and what info has come in. You guys (anyone who does not like Republicans) would be so up in the air over this if it had been a Republican President and administration. We see this all the time.

Let’s keep some perspective people. Not four, but seventeen Americans were killed . . . in October alone . . . in Afghanistan. So if I’ve seen 400 posts about “benghazi benghazi benghazi benghazi” that means I should be seeing 1600 posts about people like Billings, Robert J., or Marquez, Justin C., killed by hostile fire in Afghanistan.http://icasualties.org/OEF/Fatalities.aspx

Like with most informants, they wish to keep their jobs and not have death threats over exposing the corruption in our Government and other groups. Therefore they don’t want those reporting to divulge their names, also, they would not share information in the future. Just because it is on Fox you discount it, but if it was on CNN or MSNBC you guys would not question it. I am aware that not all things are totally accurate, but if it is not getting rebutted with facts and proof how are we to know. According to you it too would be hearsay if the Government wants to say it is not true. That is all we are asking for is them to “PROVE IT”.

The Pentagon, the Marine Command, repeatedly told State and the Reagan folks the “Marine barracks” in Beirut could NOT be defended, and the troops should be moved out, and put in less concentrated facilities. Reagan’s people said, NO WAY, keep them right there: the result was 254 dead Marines. THAT was covered up by the press of the day, and to this day.

It’s frustrating that idiots like Limbaugh can get their dittoheads so stirred up, and then make up their stories as they go along, to keep the fraud alive.

I lost friends in Viet Nam, way too many are on “The Wall”. I also lost friends in Afghanistan and Iraq, where my son served, and lost friends, as well as in many other countries, where “security” means nobody knows what they did. He’s out now, as a disabled retiree, and though he served five of his thirteen years of service with “teams”, he can’t, even today, speak of what they did, or where.

That our idiot media, and even stupider right-wing commentators, and “experts” here, and elsewhere, haven’t a clue, other than Limbaugh’s blowhard B.S., what really goes on, and shouldn’t, it gets very frustrating watching total idiots blow their horns. Do they remove their shorts first??
