I seem to remember McCain being treated badly by the right during the last nomination season. Assorted folks just hated that he was going to get the nomination but once he did they seemed to forget all about their own past words and actions.
McCain is NOT a conservative, fiscal or social.Romney is FAR FROM conservative both fiscal and social. If the MSM and the GOP “establishment snobs” railroad Romney into the nomination, conservatives may again this election stay home in droves!-see Drudge link today to 7-page printout article “Conservatives Remain the Largest Ideological Group in U.S.” (1992—2011) at www.gallup.com/poll-Gallup is NOT a “conservative” polling company….but Americans average 40% self-described as CONSERVATIVE, with 35% “moderate” and 21% “liberal”……-the Tea Party is made up of “independents” meaning conservative & moderate voters disliking R and D electeds.-when Romney claims to be a conservative, check his record. He opposed Reaganism and opposed the 1994 conservative Contract with America (Romney was the only major GOP candidate losing an election race in 1994)…as Mass. Gov. he was not a “fiscal conservative” and he is on videos and print quotes as “pro choice” on abortion. …so when he claims to be “like Reagan” and claims to be “conservative”….he will be speaking untruths.-this is a problem in a year when the country desperately needs to “DUMP OBAMA”….I pray for a GOP Convention “surprise

His Dad did teach him how to drive that Rambler Metropolitan at an early age. Or was it a Matador? Maybe a Rogue. Classic?

The worse thing about the tea partiers is that they spend too much time partying and too little time getting acquainted with the truth.

Romney’s the least likely to beat Obama for this very reason. The Tea Party will reject him and stay home.
