and then what after he douses her? gets to keep the castle for himself?
If the Wicked Witch is still alive, then isn’t the Flying Monkey still one of her minions?
I would’ve thought that Lio would want to be friends with the Wicked Witch.
Too bad he can only use it three times.
It’s been done.
No! The water noooo!!!!
Love that expression on the monkey’s face: “Eh. It’s a living.”
The bewildering effects of karma. In “The Wizard of Oz,” Margaret Hamilton is splattered with water and dies. Thirty-two years later, in “Brewster McCloud,” Margaret Hamilton is splattered with bird poop and dies.
“What a world! What a world!”
I would think that Lio would be going to her for lessons, but this is Mr. Tatulli’s comic, not mine.
Just the fact that he sees this and other things like it as a desirable destination or pursuit prompts the reaction that he is either to be pitied or that he is just flat out pathetic and irritating. In either case, he’s not endearing.
When did flying monkey’s take up smoking?
Wicked Witch of the West: “Don’t throw that water! (Lio tosses the water to put out the flame then it splashed on the Wicked Witch which causes her to scream) You cursed brat! Look what you’ve done! (Beginning to melt) I’m melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world! Who would have thought a good little boy like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness? Look out! Look out! I’m going.”
Adapted from “The Wizard of Oz” movie script.
“Let’s hope it’s not one of those weeks where I have to unleash the flying monkeys, because I will … "
(As I’ve seen online)
Great details…. the monkey’s expression… and…. The bucket! As an Oz fan… this is so good!
