I love that movie above all others. Hard to believe it’s over 50 years old.

My interpretive approach is to think of it as a French New Wave film disguised as a Science Fiction / Spiritual movie.

Yep, eight tentacle puppets.

The piece is “Lux Aeterna”. We sang this in Uni and needed two conductors for 32 voices because of the very long stretches of holding the same note. Very difficult but very rewarding!

Reminds me of Audrey 2 in “Little Shop of Horrors”…

Now if only each little squid puppet had a little puppet on each of its arms…
